Piano Fanfare for Injured Bull Elephant #1

- Romsai is an almost blind bull elephant living at Elephants World in Thailand. I’ve known Romsai for 8 years and feel very close to him.
Romsai is an elephant that seems to like slow piano music. In the past, he had the reputation for being dangerous, and despite his recent injury, extreme caution is still needed around him.
I occasionally camped out with Romsai and observed around 4.00 am he would suddenly crash down without warning from standing onto his side to sleep. A few months ago Romsai did this but badly injured his back leg. He has had X-rays and receives veterinary care but can barely walk or support his own bodyweight.
The music in this video is a freestyle piano arrangement of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man"
Thanks for loving elephants you give hope to this world
Animals know when they are loved, and this elephant knew he was in safe company, and was totally relaxed. For a moment, I thought he was going to play the piano with his trunk 😁
@footballcoreano I hope your dog lives a happy and as healthy life as possible, look for a reiki master in your area, and book a treatment for you dog, I'm studying my second level of reiki, and it works, never listen to negative people.
Oh Paul, poor Romsai has a new injury and I feel terrible for him. Again, your show your amazing dedication and passion to this beautiful and intelligent creature. It is calming to know he is protected and loved. The music seems to calm his soul. Bless your heart for doing this. Take care and best to the whole family. ~Jackie
What kind of safari is this? :)
You are a true hero Paul! Romsai is lucky to have such a talented and caring friend like you :) I don't know how you aren't a bit scared next to this majestic creature, but Romsai sure feels calm while listening to you playing!
Keep up the good work, because you're making a positive change in the world :)
Quiet Quest - Study Music
It is an elephant sanctuary. He’s friends with the owners.
@@annaroseannadanna1 Eheh I was just joking! But I think I would be a bit afraid of standing right next to that giant elephant :)
You are such a nice person, poor elephant, but lucky to have piano music.
What a Majestic piece for a Majestic animal. Poor Romsai. He’s looking so poorly. Bless his heart. Glad he has this Sanctuary to ease his days.
Paul Barton is one heck' of a man!!🙏🙏
Paul, thank you so very much for showing Romsai attention and affection when he is unwell. I know more about horses than elephants medically. Horses, despite being much smaller than elephants, often don't live very long if they become non-weight-bearing (unless it is very temporary and slings are available). I also know with elderly humans that death often soon (months not years) follows a fall (involving a break). I don't know if the vets there have water therapy or if it would be possible to apply a brace, but I do sincerely hope that Romsai can recover. Sacred Tree 💗💗💗 I will pray for him...I am wishing him the best possible outcome. Thanks again for your kindness and sympathy given to Romsai!
Good wishes to your friend Romsai, and to you, Paul.
Poor guy. He looks so thin. He seems to really enjoy this!
I love elephants
@420_GrowYourOwn Speaking of growing your own, I wonder if any form of that would do anything to alleviate this elephant's pain at all? 🤔
I think I remember seeing something on Animal Planet on a show about The Dodo, and there was a guy that worked with an elephant using a brace for an injured leg. I wonder if something like that would be possible in this case? Thank you Paul for bringing some comfort to Romsai when he needs it so much.
Thank you so much, Paul, to take care of Romsai and all the elephants of Elephant worlds with music. I am pretty sure that music has a positive effect on them. They could feel better and so it could help with their injuries!
He sits down to listen and relax. Yes, he loves it.
I wonder if it would be possible to design a piano for elephants. one with a resonance box closer to the ground and with a lower register.
Thisold Hatte : That is a great idea!
I love elephant s🙏✌️👍💕😀😸😄
Bless Paul!
I can imagine Romsai feeling the music through his feet up. After my last brain surgery I feel loud noises from the feet up, it's like another sense. Bless this beautiful fellow, and you for caring. All we have out these moments. ❤️🙏💞🐘

Did this poor creature break his leg? Do they not every lie down? Will he get better? Has he gotten better. This is so sad
So lovely. It's like he kneeled on one leg to thank God for the "Sacred Tree."

Common Man USA gang gang Copeland 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Paul how is Romasai doing these days? I hope he is well.
He looks like he's in pain. Tying to self-sooth.
I loved how he swang his tail the whole time to the beat - like a built in metrodome! 😂
Thank you for all the work you do with the eles!
