When the water sprayed on her for the first time, that look on her face was so full of joy and appreciation of life for the first time in 20 years. Imagine 20 years in a locked, barren room. These elephants are finally being cared for, thank you
None of what you wrote is shown in the video. Where did you get that its the first time she was sprayed with water and although they were in a concrete enclosure it didn't look like a locked barren room. Finally, elephants (in fact most animals) don't have the facial musculature to show expressions. It is something that humans evolved in order to better communicate in our social groups. Elephants do communicate in social groups but they do so with subsonic rumbles and sounds that you wouldn't hear. What you are seeing in her face is your imagination.
It is literally emotional torture to confine these intelligent and emotional animals to such small spaces. They are meant to roam many miles daily. Thank you for rescuing them from that concrete prison!
Elephants never forget that you saved them and offered them a beautiful life. The rewards are priceless. I want to thank you for helping these beautiful creatures 💖.
You could see quite clearly that their former handlers cared for them deeply, but were happy to see them move on to living a more authentic life. Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment with us!
It looks like one of those old zoos that was never modernized, where the animals are basically just on display. It must suck for the caregivers who work there, knowing how much better could be done for them.
I worked at a zoo this past summer that was subpar. It wasn't as bad as the one in this video but it certainly isn't good. All the keepers there cared a lot for the animals and did their best to make the animals comfortable, but unfortunately, the keepers themselves are powerless. Ownership is at fault for the poor quality of habitat. The keepers can only do their best and hope ownership will listen to reason.
@@et3182 That's a good reason for doing away with displaying creatures in captivity! Just like rodeos, a circus, using and HUNTING ANIMALS for sport such as racing, riding them, making them fight for betting purposes etc., you get the picture. There's a good counter argument for ever keeping animals enclosed and FORCING them to do what is not natural from them.
When water was sprayed on her face, it was lit with joy. Priceless moment. I am glad these two elephants will be able to lead better lives. Thank you to the people who helped these two innocent elephants.

How wonderful!!
You are real gems! for going to a lot of trouble (!) to give them a real life! one worth living! A hug and a kiss to each of you who helped! From New Zealand.
I really respect what you do for these beautiful animals. No animal should be caged just for entertainment. They should all be free to roam and live life to the full.
How Beautiful..!!Thank you to each and every amazing person who made this rescue happen..!!🙏🙏💕💕💕
There aren't words. Thank you to the people who made this possible ❤️ 🙏
Thank you for making the life of these 2 elephants so much better 🥰
I'm left feeling so much gratitude for the two of them that it would still be up the rest of my life when I don't have none for myself
You made this old man cry for the pain they've endured and in joy for their new home. Bless the ppl involved.
... hats off to Argentina, for acting on their awareness ..fingers crossed more communities/countries follow ..🙏🏽 ❤ 🇨🇦
Thank you so much for rescuing these lovely animals. To see their happiness is fabulous 💛🐘💛🐘
So wonderful to see them being released in the sanctuary. Long may they live a more natural and comfortable life. They deserve it. Thanks to all that were involved with their transition. You all are awesome!
Goodhearted people helping others on this earth, Bravo!
Bless your beautiful souls, beautiful humans❤
I had the opportunity to see these two elephants in person a couple of years ago in the Mendoza Zoo. They were very well taken care of, but unfortunately, their living space was a total nightmare. I don't know who in their right mind would allow this to happen. Good to see them living a better life now...
All you guys involved are angels from above. Those poor elephants , they are family oriented. I'm so HAPPY for them . Give them a BIG HUG and KISS from the MacKinnon family from the USA. We are watching , you do great things, they will remember this moment . They will not forget it. Thanks for all of you!!
Kudos to everyone who helped these beautiful and noble creatures. 👏👏
