The images of the elephants playing and relaxing in the water made me cry. I could actually see the joy in the movements of the elephants, no longer made to do labor, able to move about freely. The only job for an elephant is to be an elephant and make baby elephants. That's it. No carrying, lifting, begging in the streets, taking humans for a ride on it's back. Simply being. I hope every day brings these elephants joy!💕

Katherine Uribe you are absolutely right. And that goes for all animals, whether being used for animal testing of cosmetics etc, and those that are slaughtered for meat! All animals deserve to exist for themselves! Not for us!

You can just see their relief especially from the older ones. You can see it in their eyes... and it’s so wonderful to be able to have enough space for them and even more importantly that you have more than one... elephants actually NEED other elephants.
