The thing about Nu Metal groups like Korn is they all grew up with hip-hop and you can hear the influences from that in their sound. Rythm of Hip-Hop, energy of metal all rolled into one

“he looked like he was having a mental breakdown” probably because he was LMAO, jonathan has always put a lot of his emotions into the songs he writes and when he either records or preforms them he tends to get emotional, that could be sad, angry, or a mix of both.
You really should check out Type O Negative. Peter Steele's singing I'm sure will impress you enough. Most reacters start off with the song Love You to Death. It's a very romantic song and you two compliment each other so well I'm sure you'll appreciate it.

I could recommend my favorites, but I made a recommendation based on songs they’ve already liked. If they start on the “wrong song” for them, it could turn them off to the band all together. They are new to this music and probably won’t appreciate the deep tracks for awhile. I do appreciate your condescending attitude though.

Best intro for the headlining band I have ever seen. Stage was completely black, then the drums and guitar for this song start, then "ARE YOU READYYY?!! and all the lights and everything blew up.
As a metal fan for many years I must just say its refreshing watching people open their minds to this genre of music. If you want to see something very interesting react to Limp bizkit break stuff. Johnathan Davis aka lead singer of Korn, Snoop dog, Dr dre and Eminem make a much enjoyable appearance in the video. Enjoy Gang. Much love

My very first real concert was Danzig, other than being younger and going to fair type concerts. The two opening acts were Marilyn Manson and Korn. Nobody knew who Korn was, we barely knew who Marilyn Manson was, we were there for Danzig. My first concert 10 feet from the center of the stage, The lights go pitch black, and you here the ride cymbal tt tt tt tt tt tt tt, which seemed like forever. ARE YOU READY! The music explodes into Blind, and my love for Korn began. We watched the show in Kalamazoo at the K-Wings Hockey Stadium, the place wasn't even half full. Korn and Marilyn Manson the full bands came out into the crowd after their sets. we sat and talked with Monkey and Fieldy and did something else with them, that I won't say here. I will never forget that show.
My dad played music in a band, and they played 60's and 70's hard rock and roll. I listened to rap that a child probably shouldn't listen to, but I was listening to AMG, Geto Boys, Too Short, 2 Live Crew, just to name a few. Made some friends in high school that loved metal, the most metal I could get at the time was Pearl Jam and Nirvana, basically grunge, but by that time I was into 2Pac, Snoop, Nelly, Bone Thugs, etc. Korn took metal to a new place. And, my journey into metal began, and now it's some of my favorite music.

No matter what do not react to the Korn song 'Daddy' because you will never be the same again. It was so traumatic during the recording that the lead singer never wanted to do it again. Seriously don't...it cannot be unseen once it has been seen!
