Congratulations on all your successes with the Freedom Factory. That hard work is really paying off. You’ve built something special. I can’t wait to see where this goes in the future. Wish I could have been there for the opening.
got some chills mate seeing all the people there, really amazing things they had done since the beginning of purchase. Gotta fly over there for sure, cheers
Had no idea you were a fan of cleets, love your work exposing the half-assed lock makers, false promises, and shoddy locksmiths. You keep it up aswell man.
I hope you and the guys had time to sit back and take everything in once the dust had settled. Giving that place life and getting people excited about it is a hell of a job, and one that a lot of people wouldn't have taken on. Enjoy this victory, you all deserve it.
I grew up in this area. Last time I was on that track I was 17. I’ve always missed it. My dad and uncles raced there. I’ve been a long time cletus fan and when I heard he bought it I thought about moving back to Florida as I’ve relocated to Washington state some years ago. But work and family prevents that move but I did fly my ass from Washington state to Florida to go this event and let me tell you driving up to the tank brought back tons of memories I even had to hold back some tears. I wish my dad was still around as he would have loved seeing the track againI had a blast. Thank you cletus and family for what your doing and what you have done. I will be back again for another event.
Cleetus, I’m 75 years old and I live in Washington State. When I was 72 I flew back to Maryland for the call-out drags and met you and a whole bunch of other RUclipsrs. I was so impressed with how genuine you all were. Now I have put going to see the Freedom Factory and you and your crew at the top of my bucket list. Somehow I will make it happen.

Reason why people respect your facility is because we feel like your a friend from all the uploads and updates you provide so it makes you feel like you actually are invested into the track I no people who bought shirts or in some other way contributed even how ever so small. I hope you all the best and I love your channel
“Every person here acted like they were invested in this track as much as we were” Yup, because we watched the whole process from the start, we feel like we are a part of the process. I wasn’t there for this event, I live 900 miles away. but I will be as we head south every year on vacation. I wish I was there, looked like an awesome mix of cars and trucks from all over. I do have my jar of track on my trophy shelf though.
Watching Garrett get a little emotional over his first public event at THE FREEDOM FACTORY almost brought a tear to my eye as well. It’s been so sweet watching her come from abandoned forgotten place to the best thing RUclips has ever seen 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I live 5 min from this track, and I haven’t set foot on these grounds since I was 15. Walking through the gates was nostalgic, I don’t think the people watching who don’t live around here understand how much this means to us locals
This is why I’m subbed to cleetus now. The man is doing things to benefit his small community. Wish more RUclipsrs would use their opportunities to do this.
I know exactly what you mean, here where I live we used to have a dirt track that my dad used to take me on saturdays to watch sprint cars race, I would love to be able to go to that track again.
To all the Freedom Factory guys. I came across your video of opening night by chance, I am a Nascar fan from the old school days. I live in Riverside California, and you may know that back then the ( Winston Cup Series ) came to Riverside Raceway twice a year. They were my 2 most favorite days of the year, and actually they were 4 days to us who enjoyed camping in the infield... Sleeping in the back of my 1969 Chevrolet pick up truck. Anyway when they tore down the track it was a huge ordeal for me and sadly closed a chapter of my life. Since then I have always been interested in watching videos on abandon race tracks, that is how I clicked on to yours. But let me tell you I am so impressed with what you have done and the passion you have for your track. I can not count how many times I smiled at your joy of opening night. That would of been awesome to be a part of that and I am positive it was a great time for all that was there. Congratulations on your achievements. Inspiring to say the least. I am going to try to visit the Freedom Factory one of these days. Way to go ! Brian Petereit Riverside California.
When he bought the track I kinda thought it would end up just being his playground and nothing more. He immediately started fixing and upgrading things, and now just over a year after buying it he's got it open to the public. HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!
I never knew he was that much of a dreamer. He saw what it could be, and is going full steam towards it. It's WAY better than I thought it was gonna be. It'll eclipse the DeSoto legacy and be a landmark in Florida by itself. An automotive center of the southeast US.
My god yess when the rona restrictions are over I’d love to see you u do a road tip to Florida for some drifting shenanigans and maybe some stuff with the cummins car. And this is a message from the Canadian west coast!
Yep, he could sit on his money and hire people to do all the dirty work like most youtubers do, but you can see he's gonna do the most labor as he possibly can no matter what.
You gotta think, this is the validation of so much time and money, taking the plunge on a whole friggin racetrack during a pandemic. I’m proud of him man, he put out so much, I’m happy to see that he’s finally seeing it back.
@@justinatkinson5265 This video was uploaded 4 hours ago and already made more than you will for the entire month. How many race tracks have you owned?
Not gonna lie, this made me a little emotional. You've worked so damn hard for the Freedom Factory, and your dedication to making it as good as it can be is clear to all of us. You've brought so many people together already, and gotten a large portion of the community involved with the merch sales. If anyone is deserving the success, its you, Garrett. You never take anything for granted, and you're always thankful for the people who support you. You are one of the greatest influencers on this platform, teaching people that if you try hard enough, anything is possible. If there's one thing that stands out the most, it's your humility. You never put yourself on top of others, even for us fans. You interact with us as individuals instead of "just another fan" like other youtubers. That is what makes me respect you the most. I'll raise a glass to you. Congrats on the first public Freedom Factory event, and here's to many others in the future! Looking forwards to the future event videos!
100% agree, also earns kudos cuz he hasnt filmed a task at the FF that he himself hasnt gotten his hands dirty with at least a little bit, mad respect!!!
And I thought I was being ridiculous for getting emotional about this. He's worked so hard to make this dream a reality, and what sealed it for me was having everything you worked so hard for be respected instead of abused. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for this florida man and his racetrack. Blessings from Canada, it's awesome watching people be people again. It's been awhile since I've seen smiling faces like that up here.
100% me right now! I’ve been patiently waiting to see this day since he bought it. And I can’t imagine the emotions of the whole crew. Hopefully can make it to an event myself some day!
Just saw this after I posted "call me a pussy but this brought tears of joy to my eyes" LOL! And for the same reason you stated, the whole thing has been a thing of beauty from the start right up to this moment. shows what happens when people do things out of passion and not just for money.
Gave me chills when you said everyone was so respectful. After all the crap in 2020 you give me hope for humanity. Thank you and god bless the Freedom Factory.
You are a true testament to America, the American dream come true and i am proud to be a fan. I have a 1968 Mustang, amd love America as much as you. Congratulations !!! Good show.
This is the track RUclips built. We all should feel pride. Our support allowed this incredible young man to use his drive and determination to give us this amazing facility. Garrett- from the bottom of my heart, thank you. You are doing more for motor sports than 90% of all racing sanctions. You are giving us a place to call ours, a place we participate and witness freedom at its finest. Thank you, -a fan
I think it was meant in fun not in a asshole way. But hey there is a ass for every seat so I can understand how jokes or sarcasm can be missed by people like Greg Webb
I'm pretty sure that was Nick Savage talking. He was just joking. It sounds just like him and you can see that he waits for Cleetus to get done talking to Emilio.
When your girlfriend thinks you're taking her out for a romantic valentines day dinner at a fancy restaurant, but you're just planning on ordering a couple hell yeah brother specials.
When the first guys walked in, I had a smile on my face straight to the end of the video. I am so happy for you and your accomplishments. I know the stress of opening your door to the public for the first time and you did a great job. No matter how prepared you think you are, there will always be something. The fact that there is no garbage for you to clean up is a testament to your character as a man, as the owner, and to the whole McFarland/ Freedom Factory brand. You guys show everybody the highest level of respect and in turn people are going to show you the utmost respect in return. I wouldn't be surprised to see, in 5 to 10 years, the FF with a giant parking garage out by the road and several new on and off road tracks on the property making it the premier motorsports park on the east coast. Give it a few years and I guarantee the next door neighbor will be made an offer they can't refuse and Cleetus will have his own pro drag strip too. The sky is the limit now!!
I can definitely see Cleetus owning Bradenton Motorsports Park someday, and Cleetus and cars becoming a multi day event. Burnout competition one day, drag racing the next, and a circle track race the day after that. Sky is the limit with Cleetus I think.
She threw a rod in the service of a greater good after many years of service, just like the Dodge from the blues brothers, and thus I hold my hat at my heart in respect for ye lol
@@mikeoglesbee6861 yes good intentions,, brings good doings and like-minded peoples, Cleetus you have your own community here. stay blessed and keep it real
To everyone that went to the freedom factory give yourself a pat on the back. Its just amazing to hear how you guys didn't trash the place and treated the place as your own. This means a lot to all of us who support Cleetus and The Freedom Factory. This means more events for us to attend and watch here on RUclips. Thank you!!!!
You have a great personality and attitude. Keep smiling and your business will explode..... go get em....I learned years ago, that most folks will keep it clean and fun. My first line item is to have lots of trash cans and minimize “clean up”. Also, a cop or 2 is usually enough. You only need enough uniformed security to remove 1 drunk guy. We did “Biker events” fo 20 years and never had an issue. I also always had attendants in the public rest rooms to keep things clean as they go. A tip jar will help cover that expense. You will pick these things up as you go along, but you are resourceful and you have proven that, with the work you have done at you FF. Their is no limit to the types of events you can host. Have a blast, Dan
What I really like about cleetus is he doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty to chip in and get shit done. So many others would just let the contractor do all the work. Not cleet. He’s in digging dirt laying asphalt. And still stays humble enough to meet fans etc.
Or get his lungs dirty when cutting concrete....the faux Southern toughness in this vid is quite annoying. This will all come back to bite you guys when you're older.....but hey, who cares now?! Wouldn't want to be mistaken for a Democrat by responsibly wearing a mask would we? Sheese....

Absolutely. He stood there for hours doing a meet and greet on one of the turns of the track with dozens of fans, giving them all a decent amount of time to hang out, talk, and take multiple photos with him. It's amazing to see so many people come out and support the track to show some love for Cleetus and crew. It Looks like everybody had an amazing time and the Freedom Factory will be an Icon of hard work, passion for racing, and a shared love of the sport. You made it happen and that should be an inspiration to anyone with a dream. Heeeellll Yeeaaah Cleetus!

Needs a Summernats, US version. Cleetus and Cars, but more juiced up aha. Have show cars, dyno, drifting and burnouts(Different groups/classes) to finish off. Have main back road/path road where people can drive laps/U-turn. As long as they are not over the limit, not getting too wild, rev engines, lil mini spins etc(But even that's pushing it). But honestly think that would be amazing. Plus promo women ;) & maybe like random crowd member gets a chance to be a passenger in drifting couple laps with Cleetus or Vaughn Jnr? Depends how maybe you could do the raffle/prize etc. And all that !! Then adding & inviting other RUclipsr's that are into car scene etc. So much potential and vision I'm seeing. Good luck and god bless Cleetus lad :) lol, some random Aussie fan and I'm excited and thinking of ways to make best event haha. Once again cleetus god bless brother, take care, I hope family, misses and friends all doing well

It was cool to see how excited you were for the freedom factory to open, and how respectful everyone was. I don't think I've ever seen you stressed out. If I recall correctly Cleetus said he wanted to host his first event at the end of 2020 when he bought the place. The fact that with everything going on with covid he had his first event this early in 2021 is awesome. Mad respect to Cleeter and his crew. Great job, you deserve it.
@Dan Bail where do you live? I highly doubt that, and why America has a lot of cases is because we test people, obviously the more people you test the more positives you get
@Dan Bail no, it won't. People die all the time for different reasons, and unlike many, I don't believe in just this physical life. Physical death is not a problem. There's a place in Brisbane Australia that hosts events (when COVID isn't an issue) and they regularly post about not having to pick up a single piece of rubbish at the end of the event. It is a much smaller event scale though. I love it when people are respectful like that.

Walking through the gates was nostalgic, I don’t think the people watching who don’t live around here understand how much this means to us locals
thats awesome man wish we had more tracks and a car scene in ohio
This is why I’m subbed to cleetus now. The man is doing things to benefit his small community. Wish more RUclipsrs would use their opportunities to do this.
yeah this is super awesome that it has come full circle again!!!
I know exactly what you mean, here where I live we used to have a dirt track that my dad used to take me on saturdays to watch sprint cars race, I would love to be able to go to that track again.
Meanwhile every cart track in a 200k radius suited for real cart racing closes around me.
Sharing is caring
I never knew he was that much of a dreamer. He saw what it could be, and is going full steam towards it. It's WAY better than I thought it was gonna be. It'll eclipse the DeSoto legacy and be a landmark in Florida by itself. An automotive center of the southeast US.
Imagine where the freedom factory would be if covid never happened?

You gotta think, this is the validation of so much time and money, taking the plunge on a whole friggin racetrack during a pandemic. I’m proud of him man, he put out so much, I’m happy to see that he’s finally seeing it back.
Then a year later he realizes there's no profit in owning a race track and it goes right back up for auction

This is exacly how all events should be, respectful, keeping it clean and everyone will be happy. 100% thumbs up
Make sure you let people know that this behavior is expected of our friends. You're welcome, until you misbehave.
Couldn't have said it better myself. 👏

I can definitely see Cleetus owning Bradenton Motorsports Park someday, and Cleetus and cars becoming a multi day event. Burnout competition one day, drag racing the next, and a circle track race the day after that. Sky is the limit with Cleetus I think.

This is why I play the lottery. Gotta buy an abandoned race track.

So glad to see that everyone was completely respectful! Just a show of how much we love you and what you're trying to do! I'll definitely have to make a vacation trip down there to FL!
I smiled so hard, I've felt like I've personally been at the track for the whole journey.. and to see all the hard work and set backs finally pay off.... Garet you absolutely deserved this. Congratulations.
The paver looks like old Bessie from "CARS" the movie. I can just see you hooking up Ruby to pull it around the track!

Can't imagine how this all had to finally feel after EVERYTHING you've been through to get your facility ready. Huge HUGE congrats brother!
This was the best car event I’ve ever been to. Everyone was awesome. So respectful, followed rules, took care of the track and had an awesome time. The ff looked awesome. Really felt like we were a part of something special to be at the soft opening of the freedom factory.
@Ryan Couchman all the staff seemed just as excited as we were to be there. Was really cool
@Ryan Couchman couldnt tell ya
The gift you are giving the car community is unreal dude. Watching you put in this amount of work to bring a whole lot of hell yeah brother back into that place, purely for out of your love and passion for cars and spreading that passion. Puts a smile on a lot of people’s faces
Can’t wait to make a trip down from NY
Lol yeah and the gift of covid to everyone in attendance
The culture of the team has fully manifested in the enthusiasm and respect shown by the guests. The leadership I’ve seen over the course of the year is amazing. It is a conscious, daily choice to do it for Dale, despite life’s myriad setbacks, and you all have inspired more people than you’ll ever know. Congratulations on the grand opening of your facility!
Just the emotion in his voice as he's talking about his success!! Many more to follow!!
Everyone acted like they were invested because they are! Each and every one of us is your biggest supporter, and we will always be respectful, courteous, and thoughtful when it comes to being given the privilege to consume any entertainment you provide for us in person or online. Raise hell and praise Dale!
Anyone else notice how cleetus had a smile on his face the whole time
I noticed that too!
When your dream comes to life, it's hard not to be that happy 😁
what are you talking about?! I had a smile on my face the whole time watching this video! HELL YEAH BROTHER! So awesome to see this come together!
put a couple dots after the first "the" and it's like a cliff hanger. "YOU'RE AT THE... THE FREEDOM FACTORY!!!!!!!!"
Or just use quotation marks "The Freedom Factory"
Ill be honest i shed a tear for you Cleetus, everytime id get caught up in how grea this event looked i just thought back tto the guy putting turbo whistles and duck calls in the exhaust of a c7. U are a hard worker and do even better underpressure. You're a good man great entertainer and amazing american. You ever have need for a chef enetertainer comedian laborer and still a jack of all trades, im here. I would be honored and ecstatic to call you boss.

The concrete cutter did an amazing job, it looked so good. I know i'm a New Zealander and we are considered soft cause of what happened to us with COVID, but please use some ear muffs, a dust mask and something over your eyes even if it's garage brought sharkies. Cause as a guy almost hitting 50 it's awesome to be able to see, hear and breath. Much respect from the shaky isles.
This is not me being negative to anyone, but you just get one body, why not take care of it?
Facts respect your body and it'll respect you
What do you think about the case of Grace Millane? First time I've ever paid attention to a murder case in New Zealand. Mostly because we so many of them here in the crazy USA. Kinda a crazy case though how he carried her out of the hotel in a luggage bag.
@@FarmerFpv I get i'm being totally double standard, i may of done an indicated 265k/m on a ZX-10, and i'm saying protect your hearing. But i survived and so did he, put his hearing ani't what it used to be. I'm still the same.
@@finmcintyre8790 right on bro
Grammatically if it is called "The Freedom Factory" the sign is correct.
Just put a comma and the end of the first the.
The, The freedom factory
you mean the the sign is correct
I’d bet most people wouldn’t notice if he hadn’t pointed it out. And those that did notice and point it out are probably pretty lame at parties.
Grammatically its wrong but no big deal. Makes no difference
I wanted to go but i got covid sad rip
The trash thing really puts into perspective how much this is truly the people's track. Hell Yeah Brother!!!!
@Rugar 22 Exactly my thoughts. We saw this again and again over the last few years. One crowd leaves an area spotless when they leave, mostly because of their upbringing and values, while the opposition usually trashes the place and expects someone else to clean up after them.
@@scythelord I know that's true I pick up other people's trash they left when I'm at fishing holes, some people's kids 🤷🏼♂️
@Rugar 22 Patriot crowd had absolutely nothing to do with it. That was Cleetus's crowd.
@@rattymahatty8456 most of cletus fans love America. That is called patriotism. People who are patriotic are called patriots.
That's ok we accept unpatriotic people too as long as they pick up their trash.
Sure made my eyes wet from the thought of all the hard work finally coming together! So glad things were a giant success! I don't see how anything could have come together any better! CHEERS to the Freedom Factory family!!
