I got these for my wife and she loves them. This pair is called 'Around the way girl' and is inspired by the LL Cool J song. If you watch the video then you will know that the gold rings and the paper are not inspired by MJ but by the jewellery worn by the girls in the video. It's a great backstory and song.

I just realized that the nike usually puts better quality to women exclusives than the regular releases, Imma definitely try to cop these, colorblocking and the color reminds me the 2015 uncs

I love the idea but not the execution. If they had a darker Denim color and maybe more interesting details like copper rivets, orange stitches and a leather tag - those would be fire!

Like you Sean if I had them they'd be far back in my rotation. I'm a older guy so I've never really been able to get into the distressed look. I mean I love a good old worn in pair of jeans and jean jacket but I see these puppies unraveling fast. Love the colorway just not the jean material. Another awesome review! 🤙🏻🤙🏻😎✌🏻✌🏻
I like how some of the AJ1’s toe box overlay isn’t so big. Seems to make the shoe a little more functional to walk or even hoop in.

Maybe customize a pair using a bleach pen and maybe a lace swap🤔

Id probably tape the midsoles with electrical tape and give the denim a good sandpaper with a fine grit to get the colour to fall back then finish off with clipping the loose strands for a cleaner look. They a little too freyed & shaggy for my taste but have some potential.
I wanted to get these, but Canada only got up to size 12W. Just no love for big feet gang.
A while back, I wanted the AJ4 Levi's and distress them, but prices on them got way too high. The fraying does give it a distressed look, but incomplete IMO. It needs more distressing on the denim itself. I guess my only hope of getting a pair is with the US release and hope they launch in bigger sizes.
From my perspective these look similar to the hyper royals; I would cop if they had kept a traditional or jeweled wings logo

Personally I never get the hype behind UNC colourways on Jordans. But these, with the distressed denim details and 85 cut? Straight 🔥. Hopefully these will be like the "Newstalgia" and be an easy cop.

About sizing, you could also just take note of your EU/FR size. That stays the same regardless whether it is men or women. 😉
Got EA today for these but im passing. I just copped the taxi 1's yesterday on the shock drop (9/14) plus i already have the UNC 1's. I do really like em and resale isnt bad so maybe somtime down the road ill try to get em.
I'm confused with women sz, on man sz us 10 is 28cm, but on wmns sz us 10 is 28.5cm. is there any difference when you wear it?

I have the Jordan 1 mid on size 7Uk which is a 41 and I’ve just ordered these in 6.5 UK which is 40.5 . I’ve watch a few videos on here and most people were saying go a size down. Do you think. These will fit me too tight??
