Tesla Model 3 RWD Uberturbine Wheel Covers

In this video, I'm replacing my Aero wheel covers on my 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD. I have owned this car for about a month and a half. I love everything about the car but I can't get myself to like the Aero wheel covers. I joined many Tesla owners groups online and saw a lot of people removing the Aero wheel covers and just using the factory rims. I also saw others buying new covers that resemble the Model 3 Performance Uberturbine wheels. There are many people selling these 18" rims on Ebay and AliExpress. I ordered my set on AliExpress from Yikun Hubcap Store for about $175. These covers took about one month to receive. They did have others available that had US shipping for a little higher sale price. The covers arrived in great shape. The only thing missing was one piece of the foam tape for the inside edge of the wheel cover. This was the first time of me removing the original Aero covers. As you can see in the video, they are easy to remove. The new Uberturbine wheels snap in to place with the same mounting tabs as the original covers. Just make sure that all tabs click in to place, especially the center cap. I really like the look of these covers over the original Aero covers. They really change the look of the car. how's it holding up so far? Did it ever come lose while driving? I am thinking about getting it but not sure if it will fall off while driving.

Does Uber turbine wheels decrease the miles per charge.

Are you hearing or did you hear any popping / creaking noises on turning or driving in slow speeds (under 15 mph) with the Uberturbine covers?

Hi, I don't hear any noises with the Uberturbine covers. No different than with the Aero wheel covers.

You’re thinking of the titan wheel covers they creak pop and implode

@@kenoath6426 my Hankook evo tires are too close to the wheel edges, the rubber of the tires touched these aero wheel covers when turning as the tires change shape a bit. Too bad these covers were not made to scale or fit any kind of tires.

Did you noticed that when you set this covers on the passenger side the spokes direction end up backwards?
It's almost like they should come in two sets, 2 rights and 2 lefts...

You are correct. Even the original Uberturbine wheels are like this. They do not make them different for each side.
