Its also important to note that a knight is the only piece in which it cannot be blocked for a check. There are 3 restrictions on every piece that puts a king in check: The king moves, another piece blocks, or the piece gets taken. The knight only has 2 of these
technically a pawn cannot be block either

Actually, the chariot and the elephant and the horse and the pawn can threaten a queen without being threatened by the queen, as long as they are defended.

It depends largely on the situation. In the early game, knights tend to be better because they can easily cause a lot of threats. During the late game, bishops are usually better because the board is more open giving the Bishops more room to move around.
and this is exactly why titled players usually prefer them.
Even at late game knights are very dangerous.
If i am winning a game only one piece is standing in the way.
Because the GM's know the 90% of openings and the knight dont cause problem for the rival, the real thing is in the middle game and endgame
I believe the opposite. If u only have a bishop on black and I put all my pieces on white, there's nothing you can do. If I only have a knight, I can fork your queen and king, then fork your king and bishop as I take your queen
I remember when I was young my father always kept forking me with knights, so now I instinctively pay VERY close attention when my opponent moves his knights
Knights are my favourite piece. Being able to fork and defend multiple pieces from safety is pretty potent. The other pieces tend to put themselves in threat range of what they want to take themselves.
Also there are practically unforeseeable moves that can change to entire game.

Knight is the only piece in game whose check can't be blocked, you need to either take the knight somehow or run away.
Its ability is one of it's kind . Not to mention it can hover over the board (not giving a damn to anyone who stands in its way) and pin multiple pieces at once. Theoretically speaking it can threaten 8 pieces at once. Playing it right and it can be a Knight-mare to your opponent.
Knights are elusive as Levi said they can lead to some amazing checkmates or other patterns

The knight, the only piece that can attack without a direct line of sight, jump over pieces is just such a huge differentiation from every other pieces

We all know he wanted to say THE ROOK
and this is why deez knights are simply better than all pieces.
Knight - wide range but short distance
Bishop - long distance but limited range
The knight is indeed the CHEEKYEST piece in chess
Not the knight or bishop it’s THE ROOOOOK
Here's the best way to put it, the knight is a close range smg and the bishop a CROSSMAPPING SNIPER
I’ve always been a knight fan, and Knight is my favorite chess piece.
The bishop can pin but the knight can fork.
Bishop can forky forky too
Knight is that unpredictable guy you never know what to expect until its already there. Bishop, on the other hand, is the one often ignored, that at one moment during the match, that guy is sniping you from a mile away and you never know its coming.
A knight can successfully fork a queen
But 2 knights cant checkmate while 2 bishops can checkmate

It is possible to checkmate with 2 bishops if you don't know you can try but I don't think you can do it🤣🤣

One time i was in a chess match and forked the queen, king, and bishop all in one. He then resigned a few moves after i took his queen
When I was a beginner I preferred bishop. But as I got better I prefer the knight all day. The knight can terrorize your opponent even if you’re losing. I’ve won games that I was down 2-3 pieces but my knight brought me back. It’s a lot easier for your opponent to defend against a bishop.
The knight is only piece who can fork queen and king without support

Knights are deadly , if a knight checks your King you can’t even use a piece to block it

knight pros and cons:

bishop pros and cons:

I noticed over time that late game, bishops become less useful. If the bishop is on a white space, keep your king on a colored space and it can’t pose a threat.
Everyone is a gangster until you find yourself in a royal fork
Levy forgot to add that knight can take out queen without queen being able to take knight
The only piece whose check can't be blocked is that of a knight
