So for info with the account wipe on PRO - the maker of pokeone was the main creator of PRO aswell. he paid for all the assets to be made his name is rusty. One of the other developers essentially stole everything and changed hosting passwords and locked rusty out of control of the game. but in doing that rusty was the only one with any access to the save data for the game so the other developer kept the game but none of the save files that came with it. My source for this info was talking to Rusty on discord and asking him about the assets in pokeone looking very similar.
when did this happen?? i haven't played PRO in a long time but i was thinking to start playing again sometime. can you tell a bit more what happened to the game?
@infernogsb the game got rebooted, so servers restarted it happened a fair few years ago couldn't give you a exact time frame from memory
I personally prefer pokemmo more for the breeding aspect and the community. It's more difficult because it wants you to do pvp yes but you don't have to.
I prefer Pokemmo because it's a vanilla pokemon experience but with added content. The best one out there for that reason.
Pokemmo is easy compared with the other games because you can breed.

pokemon revolution online is the best option imo
in pokemon revolution online, you have to pay for a membership to have some pokemons, like Shinx in route 1.
this is not a negative post just wanted to say that it would of been nice if you had the links in your description for the games to download as i can't seem to find them on google or it requires your to have a flash drive or some sort

I played PPO and PBO the most. Even though PBO is absolutely amazing and surely has things that I miss lots when playing PPO, PPO is just on a whole different level when it comes to content.

They destroyed PBO when they changed the pokemon stats system to become like any other pokemon game. It's now just another GACHA pokemmo. It will die sooner than later.

Pokemmo is one that only have until gen 5, pokemmo is more for pvp and pokemon planet is more pve, if you like boses pokeone, if you like events pokemon blaze and if you like a combination of alot but not as good as the other play pokemon revolution
Pokemmo has 5 regions.
Pokemon planet is so dope. If you're down for the grind then don't waste your time with the other mmos. This one has everything you want with a pokemon game plus its Gameboy style. The planned content on their forums should be getting people to switch over but it just doesn't have the exposure. Lacks the player count because it lacks the exposure but that it's only downfall if your okay with the grind.

And it have Unity bot for mining grinding and farming. Looks like they ban ppl for using it,but they can't prove this so they just try to find other way to ban you. Browser base game.... Nothing to protect the game from cheating. Or bot is not cheating, it's just new way of playing games 😂.......😢
I think the game is just way too grindy while being too easy. Status effects don't matter out of battle and pp is infinite, pkmn full restore after leveling and it just tells you whats 2x/4x damage without you having to think at all. Because they made it so easy they had to compensate by making it insanely grindy. XP rates are reduced, pokemon can't learn certain moves at the levels they are supposed to, encounter rate on a ton of pokemon are less than 0.1%, ev training items don't exist and because everything is random drop chance pretty much every item is 100k+ each so good luck levelling half the pokemon in the game, story doesn't exist like rival battles and certain puzzles (arrow puzzles for example) can just be walked straight over, I could go on for days about stuff wrong with pokemon planet honestly.

The worst thing about PokeMMO is the wealth gap. Your friend can suddenly become 100 times richer than you simply because they happened to have a random vanity they have kept for a few years (happened to me). Being rich is basically gated behind sheer luck, either by getting a random rare shiny or hoarding vanities (which is still a gamble because not all old vanities are valued equally). Market manipulation is also common practice and PvP's rewards are absolutely garbage. Another factor that proves that wealth is gated behind luck is that the devs have nerfed some farming options such as berry farming, despite still allowing us to make many alt accounts; and so far they have never taken care of the lack of money sinks.
What you call luck looks a lot to me like basic economics. Seems like you don’t have a terribly comprehensive understanding of “investing”.

Imagine being the Pokemon Uranium devs in 2023/2024. They made a completely new region and set of mons from the ground up and got C&D. Now games that are blatantly using Pokemon IP just run free. That game was getting really big too.

in the case of pokemmo its mostly because you cant play the game by just download the client in their web page, you need to have the ROM and in the webpage they said that you need to own it because of copyrights and stuff, so they cant get lawsuit because you dont download the roms from them you need to get it from other places, hims game is basicaly empty of pokemon without those so, yea that how they survive i hope you understand me

I played both and prefer PRO. Pokeone loading screen are way longer, it's super hard to run from a battle, battle are super slow.

Funny how people keep calling pokemmo a "way too hard game", while in fact it's not hard at all, all it do is makes fights interesting. There is nothing interesting in Charizard that one shot everyone with single move. Enemies have unpredictable sets of skills and pokes and that makes them worthy opponents.
Like for example Lt. Surge usually in any variants of game all it takes is to win is to use rock type poke and you easily destroy his raichu. But in pokemmo his raichu have a grass attack that will one shot your rock type - so you have to be more creative and make better strategy. That what makes pokemmo the best one, fights are challenging, but not hard if you use brain.
And yes, sadly there are a lot of problems too. Chinese farming bots, market manipulation, almost all events are only for pro players who already spent years in game and not for newbies. But to complete all five regions pve campaigns it will took you hundreds and hundreds hours of joy and challenges.
Don't waste ur time on PokeOne, Devs and Staff is corrupt AF.
Thats a fact, even something as simple as being vocal about the game on the discord without being mean or toxic will get you banned in a heartbeat….bunch of softies and they do slick stuff on the side with some players and enable some cheating
People get stick in pokemmo because you can breed.
a REAL Poke MMO gamer does not want breeding. Its difficult to explain but an MMO should never ever have breeding. It destroys the entire sense of RNG and grinding.

Good question. Depends on what you want. I think most of them do a good job with shinies, the only one I would stay away from is Pokemon Planet. There are shinies and its the base rate, but they are relatively unwanted by the community and not many people go for them. PokeMMO would probably be my choice, but the rates are higher (I think 1/30k)
@@ItsPhantomFam yeah I’ve played PokeMMO, 1/30,000 or even 1/25,000 is way too high for me, takes too much time. I think PokeForce will probably be my best option when it comes out.

Pokemon planet for shiny, but you may not like pvp rewards and clan wars and their reward also battle tower you need to participate in all this to get an item or som pokemon the only way to get them. But you can beat all regions with one team and catch many shiny but not all pokemon. And in order to get HM's you need to gamble in casino in-game to get token to buy items that you can't get anywhere else and also pokemons there to and stats random like you catch them. That's suck

i hate how pokemmo deals with legendaries but also how they change basic things like breeding and berries so much. why when i breed does one of the parents just off themselves? how does that make any sense?
If you like to play pvp on pokemon game. I highly recommend that do not play that pokemon revolution online because a lot of rules stop you using moves or pokemon otherwise you get reported or maybe banned. Stupid game

It's great that's it's a bit difficult. It would be very boring if you could win E4 with 1 maxed out Pokemon just like in "Vanilla Pokemon games". Time for a change.
@@Empty12345 I'm not asking for a baby difficulty mode. I just want to be able to play it casually, like a normal pokemon game. It would be great if there were 2 difficulties so people who want a challenge can get it but people who don't can play casually.
Seems like a lot of the best ones don't have fairy types or gen 6+ yet, which kind of kills my interest. Need my favorites. Sylveon, Goodra, Alola Ninetails, Delphox, etc. Disappointing.
Yeah most are just gens 1-5 unfortunately.
came here for this. all the games that have gens 6+ are basically just gen 1-5 remakes with extra pokemon added in. the only one so far is fire ash that has all the regions and all the pokemon. but its not an MMO and its very light on content, like you can blow through 1 region in an afternoon.
well you'd be surprised that 90% of the community consider this good rather than bad. If fairy type and gen 6+ were in the game I'd immediately lose all interest as surely most people would. You cant deny that the original gens are far more popular than the new ones, and most people would prefer to only have the old ones, which is obviously why every mmo does it this way. I promise its not cuz they are lazy and cant afford to put more hours into it, its because they decided rightfully that the game is more successful this way

Better yeah... but devs from pokeone are pretty shit I stopped playing 2 years ago and they didn't bring not even a single new thing to the game, no new pokemon, no new region, no new stories it's always the same events.
The game is extremely boring because of it.
Pokeone is filled with the same players with 500 alts and cheat and take shortcuts, staff is toxic soft and corrupt as well
