I'm a foreigner currently employed in Aichi Prefecture, and my city is located just one town away from the coast, so I find this situation quite frightening. We are also aware of the impending big earthquake in the Philippines, but based on the preparations made here and there, I am more likely to survive this earthquake than the one in my home country. However, I fervently hope that these mega-earthquakes do not occur anytime soon or at all. I pray for both my country and Japan.
