Thank you for this! We have decided to roast a chicken instead of turkey for thanksgiving. Its just 2 of us and we cant eat a whole turkey plus we prefer chicken anyway lol. More room in the stove for sides too. Thanks again!
I could tell the chicken was moist when you cut it because it just sounded moist, & the skin sounded crisp. 😋 I have hesitated to roast a whole chicken in my airfrier. But I'll have to give it a try, you make it look easier.

Looks nice! I was wondering...now that you have cooked whole chicken in different ovens,airfryers....which one came out better or thats your fav? I just bought the ninja two basket airfryer and looking for recipies your channel came up and I stayed 😀. Have a blessed weekend
So at 415 deg I noticed it getting very dark on top at 48 min so I stuck it with a gauge and it shot up to 165 and a little over so 48 min at 415. Wonder if it will be dry???
Looked beautiful. Temp was right. Let it set for 20 minutes. Very juicy...AND RAW when I cut a leg off. BUT my fault. I had put the innards inside to cook so I won't do that again. Top white meat was done and very juicy. I'm gonna stick with 415/ 48 minutes for my next whole chicken.
I just found your channel. I just bought this. Say, perhaps, could you try cooking without the digital probes attached? I imagine the device is not designed for doors cracked slightly open....which would probably slow down cooking time

@shenalally2214 Always check both breast and thigh.
What you use in the bottom of the pan to keep it from Smoking when cooking raw chicken.

How about a 4 pound chicken? Might be better. It's got to be a lot less electricity than a full sized electric oven!

Maybe if you took it out and flipped it over it would have got to 165 sooner
I actually tried that method recently. Different cooker, but it didn't help.
