These restoration video's are so satisfying and relaxing. If you are having troubles with falling asleep just watch some before bedtime. Works for me everytime!
One of the nicest classic convertible cars. Simply beautiful. I'm sure that the 'god of little cars' is very happy with this rescue and your great job 👍
This was the chick car of the late 60's and early 70's particularly with the power hard top. A real riders car heavy and wide, floated down the road. Thanks for sharing this video.
A beautiful project! It all wroks together just fine. We keep in mind it is a toy, not a reproduction of a real car, so the proportions are not critical! Great wheels!
I have this exact car in pristine condition in the box. Its worth around 30 dollars as of today. Its a pretty cool car in the box with a nice red paint.
Ievery time i see your stripped and polished castings, that keeping chrome or like brushed steel would also look just awesome, i think its gotta be an 80s kid thing, after seeing the deloreans we can imagine every car in stainless steel lul
My friends dad had a black T-bird or thunderchicken as we called it, back in the day(mid 80's) I like the attention to the little extras, brought back from shabby to shiny but the extra make it catch the eye.
Beautiful little job! Everything down to the front grille has given this a total transformation. Wheels look great. Almost looks like Quagmire's motor from Family Guy, even though I may be wrong (I think his is a Chevy Bel Air cabriolet)
Yep this one's stunning, absolutely perfect colour choice on a really pretty casting. I love the fact that you provide some of the highest quality content in the Diecast community while still using budget friendly tools and materials - goes to prove that it's not the materials but the user that counts, and also gives me hope that I could someday try my hand at this. Truly inspiring.
I have this model and i must say the wheels you have put on really do set the car off...much better than the standard ones .Nice detailing all round ...great job ...
You're right about the wheels being oversized. "Toot Tall" is spot on about how the actual car was equipped, but thanks for bringing a toy back "from shabby to shiny."
Brilliant job on the T-bird Rob, pearl red was absolutely the right choice for this one! Those would probably be 22 inch rims in real life, but the pattern looks spot on for the car.
Lovely result Rob, what a transformation. You're getting really good at the small details; the badges and lights look amazing, even in ultra-close-up. That red has a lovely finish too.
Nice resto... even though the wheels appear to be to big..the birds came with 16" wheels... I have seen them with 2l and 22" Wheels on them at car shows. .

Best result of all results in my opinion. Beautiful color, beautiful wheels, beautiful details. I want this model.

I have the feeling that it did not look as good when it originally came from the factory. Great work.
The end result was really great. The chrome details and headlights were excellent
It came out beautiful. Those wheels make it look powerful.
Man, that looks like it just rolled out of the showroom!! Great job!!
The color and wheels really bringing this one back to life. Well done. 👍👍😊
Great job, sir! I love T-Birds, actual cars and toys. You did justice to this one.
Love the color & the wheels makes it look like a show room winner
Turned out great! That's a great color, and the wheels really suit this casting.
I had one of these as a child. Perfectly done. I'm hoping for 2000 likes. It would be awesome to have a piece of a childhood memory. Great job Rob.

Beautiful. Nice work. Thanks.
Great result. Let's jump in and go for a ride
Outstanding work as always Rob.
Very nice on the details mate!
I remember these being sold at Kmart back in 83. They seemed a bit out of scale. Nice job.
Yeah they are a little chunky
That came out really nice. Love the color.
That is one cool casting!
ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR ROB!
great color love that sparkle
Nice custom Rob, it looks great.
I really like the way that one came out. I have to agree that the combination of the color and the wheels on that one really worked well.
It turned out really nice. I wonder what color the spare wheel cover should be in real life.
Usually the spare tire cover is painted the same as the body. I love the color. My dad had one when he was younger.
Really good choice of wheels!
Rob, you’re good at customizing your models, on this particular model, we used to call the rear tandem (bumper and spare cover) a continental kit . 👍
Dan tannas car in the show Vegas .God I'm getting old lol .
My thoughts EXACTLY,as you'll see in the comments!😚
We are all getting old fella Dan tanner a what a great show that was lol
Nice shout about the "Vegas" series! There was a 1/36 Corgi model of it, complete with pictured box and a Tanner figure. Great observation.
Brilliant job on the T-bird Rob, pearl red was absolutely the right choice for this one! Those would probably be 22 inch rims in real life, but the pattern looks spot on for the car.
Looks magnificent Rob!
One of your best in my opinion
Lovely result Rob, what a transformation. You're getting really good at the small details; the badges and lights look amazing, even in ultra-close-up. That red has a lovely finish too.
