Wow!!! Beautiful color. You always go above and beyond in detailing!! That car looks awesome!!!! 👍👍👍👍 I had a brand new 1975 Firebird Esprit. It was a lighter silver than the model. Loved it, but got married and 5 years later, we started to have kids and had to find something more practical. It was a beauty!!
Ah that is beautiful absolutely gorgeous! I love it. The colour suits it and I like that it’s so simple, you haven’t done any over the top with the colour scheme. The interior looks good as well. And the wheels looks good on it. It brings me back to my childhood. I had a black one with the bird printed on the bonnet/hood.
Looking at all those older castings at the end was so cool. I have ALWAYS been a fan of older Matchbox/Lesney. Those big fat tires and suspension. They weren't as say "fast" as Hot Wheels, but they looked so good and the suspension gave them some wild jumps and landings. GREAT VIDEO TOO BTW, AS ALWAYS.
I collect Firebirds, Camaros, Vetts, and Chevelles. As well as many more. I have several of those Trans Ams. You did a remarkable job on this one! Your friend should be quite happy!
Beautiful custom! Can't think why those lurid graphics were the rage 'back then'; the lines of the car were so clean and simple. I know this will be treasured by Steve and bring fond memories.
@ 21:59, the Jeep 4x4, I found Mint in Pkg in a lot off eBay. Back when I was not disabled and was still big into hunting. That Jeep is still one of my best finds. I LOVE 4x4's, big knobby tires, and like other older models, SUSPENSION.
When I was a kid this was my fav toy car due to the Phoenix decal on the bonnet/hood. I remember dropping it down the toilet & crying till Dad fished it out. Mine was red.
I own 6 Firebird's/Trans Ams (78, 80, 82, 89, 97, 99) As well as thousands of Pontiac Diecasts. Yes this was a color changing matchbox, I have 2 or three of the color changer matchbox. Love your videos.
I have the black one of this still. Mine used to end up being KITT when I was playing with it. Looks great and the owner should be very happy with this
Hi Rob! Wow, veeery nice work there! It looks almost 100% like my old (died) Firebird back in 2004. The model will have a nice, warm and dustfree home soon! Now i can remember my first carlove every day! Thanks again for your work and when finally corona is over, i will keep my eyes peeled for Matchbox cars on our flewmarkets. It was not the last pack from Switzerland! :-) Take care and thanks again! Steve Miller
Very nice custom. The Firebird looks beautiful. There was a black and silver version tat i ersonaly like a bit mor. But nicely done. The owner will be very happy with this little Car.
Wow. That looks very like the '89 Firebird my father didn't buy when I was in high school. He bought the same year Camaro instead, because the Chevy dealer offered him a slightly better deal than the Pontiac one, and to his mind, they were the same thing. :)
Sorry for another comment. I don't mean to clog up your comment section. But I have a Auto World Firebird, and it has the same aesthetics and "accessories" as yours. But your paint is so deep and clean. Very nice car. That's a top end job.
Very nice job Rob. Steve is very lucky to have a car done by you. Looks fantastic. Stay safe. Have a great weekend and happy Easter. Would love to see you do the VW bug from your unboxing.
Another one I had! Pretty sure I've still got it somewhere. It was a colour changer, my brother had one that changed colour as well, but I can't remember what his one was. Keep up the good work.
One of my favorite cars of all time. Growing up with knightrider on tv could be the reason ;) actually like the original looks more than kitt. Specially this one before the formula. Great !
Awesome transformation, Rob! I think the Firebird/Trans Am always looked better than the Camaro. Very common to remove the 305 V8 and put in a 383 stroker; which is a 350 bore and a 400 crankshaft. Pretty fast cars.
Another amazing result Rob, the finished model looks so realistic, the colour and wheels really suit it, this type of car always reminds me of the smokey and the bandit movies, stay safe sweetheart x.
That Pontiac looks really great. By the way I would love to see you doing something with the oddly shaped VW Beatle because I can smell a good customization to it as well as the Peugeot 205 which is also pretty bizarre at its shape. Keep it up mate.
I have that casting and one in black with the same graphics. I believe the blue one was a flip color change car. Put the car in hot or cold water and it would change. Of course it would long since have gone flat.
Really inspires me to start doing something similar to this with all my collection, would be easy with these incredibly informative vids, fuckin love it m8
THE Unboxing! :-).. THANKS A LOT MATE!! ruclips.net/video/4nEJGVaw5vY/видео.html

20:00 Thats the BEST LOOKING engine ive ever seen on a HW!!! Actually has rocker covers and pulleys/belt(s) well detailed in the casting!
the color and wheels combined with the car and the details gave more elegance to the body
Wow! Too bad the original car is gone. This custom though is awesome. I’m sure you have preserved a good memory for him.
Nice restoration and paint job 👌. Your client will be blown away by your work!

It's amazing how much putting proper wheels on can improve a diecast car...
Rob that was a great color you choice and the interior is perfect you have a very steady hand job well done on this one

Just a stunning transformation! The casting looked more like a cartoon at first and became something you’d want to drive off the lot! Excellent!
Hi Rob, another great model painted, the wheels look Pontiac and fit the car perfect, details on this model makes it look more realistic.
I collect Firebirds, Camaros, Vetts, and Chevelles. As well as many more. I have several of those Trans Ams. You did a remarkable job on this one! Your friend should be quite happy!
Rob you nailed it.i had a 85 trans am.and the rims are right.hope all is well with the family.
That is a lovely Job Rob I'm sure Steve will be overjoyed when he gets it

Several nice castings here in various scales and good bones with tons of potential..
My son has a loader just like the one in your unboxing. We just finished rebuilding his. He was so excited that you now have one too!
You make them nicer than they were originally. Great work!
When I was a kid this was my fav toy car due to the Phoenix decal on the bonnet/hood. I remember dropping it down the toilet & crying till Dad fished it out. Mine was red.
Lovely; very nice, Rob. You did a great job taking down that engine bump on the hood.
Sweet job mate it looks great. One of your best metallic paint jobs.
Thanks for keeping the videos flowing during difficult times..
Nicely done, sir. The gray is smooth and sleek.
Absolutely wonderful looks like a real deal.
I had a Pontiac 6000 in the same color as the Firebird, mine also was a gloss finish, not metallic. Beautful job, Rob. Steve's gonna love it.
The two tone color match was terrific and spot on.

A FABULOUS customization job!!.. Looks almost like the real McCoy!!.. Keep up the great work Bud!!
I have the black one of this still. Mine used to end up being KITT when I was playing with it.
Looks great and the owner should be very happy with this
Great job with the commission custom Pontiac Firebird the owner of the real car will be very proud and happy to see your Amazing work.
i am :-)
One of favours cars, great job with this one Rob. I like how the bonnet turned out, it looks a lot better.
Very surprised the caustic soda didn't fully work this time. The Firebird came out beautiful, nice and perfect wheels, great work 👍
Once again Rob. Great job. Came up a treat.
This might be your best car yet. Beautiful.

Best restoration yet Rob. The quality of the paint is awesome 😎
Gods good
MAGNIFICENT!!

It looks fantastic, great job on the paint and details 👍👍😊
That VW Beetle makes me think of my car. Man, how much I miss that bug! I hope you can restore it to a great shape!
Looks almost real! Yeah that was one of the Matchbox color changers, I had the same car. It was one ofvthe best color combinations as well.
Nice job love the colour and wheels awesome turnaround cheers KC Tassie Australia Stay safe take care Rob
Great job Rob, like the paint job. The mags are great.👍👍
What an amazing job! Looks soooo real! Well Done! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Pontiac Transam my all time favourite from 1982.
Very nice custom. The Firebird looks beautiful. There was a black and silver version tat i ersonaly like a bit mor. But nicely done. The owner will be very happy with this little Car.
Very nice colour and wheels are just perfect for 80's Pontiac 😎
Dude that kick ass look like some car I seen when I was a kid growing up in South Florida in the 80s dang wow
Fantastic paint! Almost a Hammermill type texture!
Beautiful customization. I’m sure Steve will be very pleased with his Trans Am.
That is a very nice job . I love the finish . Great job!!
That’s a great color for this car. Good job!
Nice job on the small fine details( especially the interior )... Too!!
Grand job on the Firebird Rob...very refined, in some ways understated (that's not being rude by any means)... another perfect piece of work! 👍
Love your work. I was hoping you were going with a K.I.T.T custom resto. Still your vids are great.
same. Missed opportunity!
This one came out beautiful. One of the best you've done for sure.
Top job on this bonnet, a real work of art👌👌👌
Wow. That looks very like the '89 Firebird my father didn't buy when I was in high school. He bought the same year Camaro instead, because the Chevy dealer offered him a slightly better deal than the Pontiac one, and to his mind, they were the same thing. :)
Brings me back to my childhood
Looks nice 👍 A lot of goodies for future projects, too.

Fantastic work as always, keep the videos coming and stay safe 👍
Looks good, those wheels are correct for any trans am.
All TA and GTAs had them from 1987 to 1992 in different colors.
@@redcarguy I wish they made the 16x8 basket weave in silver, love the look of the 15x7 of those years.
@@Lykoloo The Diamond Spoke wheels were made in different colors. Even in red!
Chevy Land T.V nice
Chevy Land T.V look like BB’s Rs’s, Bur for a gta Pontiac!
Very nice, Love the color and the interior
I'll be anxious to see you work your magic on these...
A decent well detailed casting with good bones and a lot of potential..
great paintjob. :) it really suits the casting. ^^
I had that sheriffs car Rob 🙂
Brings back memories of being a young lad. Hopefully you restore it.
Would love to see it back to its old glory 👍
This was Fantastic! Nice job again!..
Looks fantastic Rob. Cheers mate
OMG, I had the same color & year car as Steve. Mine had a orange/red stripe between the two grey colors. I miss mine too.
Great Job ! 🏆

Magnificently done.
That's beautiful. Simple as that. Nice one.

Nice shiny paint job!!

One of my favorite cars of all time. Growing up with knightrider on tv could be the reason ;) actually like the original looks more than kitt. Specially this one before the formula. Great !
Looks like the non TransAm version , very realistic, loved the detail on the seats
my car was a base Firebird..
First 0% paint removal 😂
Great job!

Home run on that Firebird, Rob. On another note, pretty funny stuff at the end when you sped up the audio.
Bugger, I don't think I meant to do that 😂
@@MatchboxGarage the "fast forward part" at the end was not your intention? I thought the models might not be so exciting, so did you fast-forward?
Nice aftermarket wheels as well!!
Another amazing result Rob, the finished model looks so realistic, the colour and wheels really suit it, this type of car always reminds me of the smokey and the bandit movies, stay safe sweetheart x.

I made that comment before I got very far in the video. I can't believe it still worked.

Very well done.
Very nice results 👍
