I'm new. Found you on the front page, probably because I been watching a lot of Jauwn's NFT series. He actually hasn't covered this one, so it's curious to see, keep it up. Also, additional info on something! Using block-chain to track the in-game currency is INDEED bad because transactions can't be reversed even if they're fraudulent. If someone gets into your account and transfers some stuff, you're just SOL. Unlike a normal server...
this video is so high quality, from the editing to the script itself! I can see this channel getting more and more popular once it properly hits the right crowd
I like your approach and sense of humor! Think I'll add to that subscriber count :D I kind of wish that the evolving plant game wasn't nft based.I can dig the idea of taking care of weird plants that evolve into different forms via the care you take of them. Proc gen has a place in that kind of idea- you make a bunch of assets and then it slaps together a plant with those assets based on the stats it has, but that's not exactly AI, it's just plain old procedural generation from seeds, the same as the dungeons in the Diablo games and the worlds in Minecraft. You could even run with the term "seeds" with the game theming! A non-nft, non- free to play game would be really cool.
Thank you!! Also that WOULD be a pretty neat game and it really goes to show how NFTs really just ruin things. Proc Gen would be perfect for these types of games, but instead they gotta use NFTs so they can sell them.
i'm so glad to see a new video from you! i love your content covering nft games. you deserve lots of subs and attention for your hard work playing and reviewing these bad games.
I'm glad you're getting more subs! I love watching nft games get torn apart on the merit of the actual game. Cos we know crypto bad, nfts bad, yada yada, I wanna hear all the uniquely special ways these games are bad! Good luck with the channel!
sir youve been burned them so good they may never recover! also hi I'm back!! love listening to you tearing apart nft's while looking through pinterest
10:17 Investment. Crypto/NFTbros do not know what it means to do something "for fun". They look at it from a monetary viewpoint and if there isn't the ability to make money, they will deem it a failure and a waste of time. Basically, the joke of "Old men in business suits smoking cigars in a conference room ruining your videogames"? Crypto/NFTbros want to be those old men.
It boggles my mind how these games are profitable. Because they must be if they keep being created. Surely companies at some point would notice that bad games die quickly. The fact “shitty early access NFT game” is now enough of a genre to be a RUclips series is so wild. I understand they use deceptive marketing but surely most people who are on the internet enough to be in to NFT/coins should also have a sense of online literacy?
You would think so. But then again NFT and crypto scams are everywhere. Put "crypto" in a video title and bots come out of the woodwork on cue every time
I kinda hated now that game is expected to be continuously updated. If it is multiplayer, sure but singleplayer? Bug fixes is a must but sometime player demands the dev to keep on working & updating a singleplayer game
I don't like it when games do this, especially minecraft since it actively discourages exploration due to the way the game works. If there's a place in your minecraft world you haven't been to yet, your world file has no data on it, so if you wait for the next update to go there it will have the new stuff no matter if your world was created before the update.
@williamdrum9899 i think you can do somethin like delete the chunk, I remember a program whare it can delete the chunk that for example less than 10 minute in it It need extra effort but yea, I don't want to explore too just incase a damn good update hit
I kinda agree with this, I don't expect a game dev to keep working on the game after a full release (if they want too then that's cool) but for Veil of Crows, apparently (according to the reviews) the game really wasn't finished yet but they just left early access anyways and just "abandoned it".
Baby Jauwn
Lmao
“Steam for Web3” - sounds like a hive of scum and villainy…
LOL! Also, they already have "Steam for Web3"... it's called the "Epic Game Store" hahaha!!!

That's good to hear! I had a feeling that was the case, blockchain for In-game currency really doesn't make any sense...
Thanks RUclips algorithm! Always fun to watch another nft game review.
Good to see another video from you! Id be surprised if this game is ever gonna come back out
Me too!

Funny you mention editing and script since those are the 2 aspects that I struggle with the most LOL, but thank you so much, it means a lot!!

Haha yep, I try to look for the more... "Unique...?" NFT games instead of, "NFT TCG #23" or "NFT FPS #42".
@@AeonDerpYT you've definitely managed, these make me sooo confused compared to the run of the mill slop
Pumped u droppd a vid.
Thanks my friends
Wow, Epic launcher has really become a dumping ground for abandoned scam games...
Oh yeah... and it ain't stopping any time soon.
sir youve been burned them so good they may never recover!

I seriously have no idea... they keep making them too! There's more that's "Coming Soon" on the epic game store

Hell yeah! Thank you!!

Is this a content farm ?
Are you a bot?
@lasennui no I'm not a bot.
I would be a pretty bad content farm since it takes me a week+ to make a single video lol. I'm curious though, what makes you think that?
@@thomaskrogh1244 sounds like something a bot would say o_O
(Just kidding). Anyway, hope you have a good day, human

Came for the concept. Stayed for the Quality. Keep up the good work and don't burn out. ᓚᘏᗢ
Haha don't worry, I'm pacing myself!!
