    6:48 ~ Reminds me of a story my teacher told me when I was younger. Still one of my favs.
    There was a rich minister that used to eat a lot of food for dinner before attending either Maghrib or Isha. The Imaam used to recite long Suwar and this bothered this minister because he was soo stuffed with food, he couldn't stand for long.
    After Salah, he went to the Imaam and told him that he can no longer recite more than one verse each Rak'ah. The Imaam accepted.
    The next day the minister ate a lot of food for dinner again and attended the Jamaa'ah thereafter.
    The recited the following Ayah in the first Rak'ah:
    وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّآ أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا ٱلسَّبِيلَا۠
    [33:67] Sahih International
    And they will say, "Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the [right] way.
    And the following Ayah in the second Rak'ah:
    رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا
    [33:68] Sahih International
    Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse."
    Upon hearing these Ayaat, the minister approached the Imaam again after Salah and told him from that moment onwards to use any Ayaat/Suwar long or short other than these 2 Ayaat. 😂

    Shaikh abu musab, I am reading Sharah of Usool Thalatha written by Shaikh Saleh Al Fawzan and I really like his way of writing and it has motivated me to read his other book on Aqeedah, Guide to sound creed 'الارشاد الى صحيح الاعتقاد' . Now the issue is whenever I search on the internet if any daee' has covered this book, I find only the Arabic speakers have done Ta'leeq of the book. So my humble request to you is if you can cover this book on your channel. I can read the book myself but I think studying with someone knowledgeable is better and from all the daee's on youtube, I like you and Assim Al Hakeem better (I love all who are calling towards the way of Salaf, but you two are special..., Alhamdolillah). Taraweeh is voluntary. You don't have to be there if you don't to. So if someone feels burdened my taraweeh, just Go take a break. It happens. This is normal and it doesnt mean you have a sick heart because at the end of the day you still chose to come to the house of Allah. And that still counts for something . We all struggle with Khushu. This is normal

    • @ismailah4576
      @ismailah4576 2 года назад

      No it does mean you have a sick heart.
      Thats why scholars wrote books about diseases of the heart they are very real.
      If you want to come and say in the 21st century we are all pure and free of diseases this is a pure lie.
      How many of us are fine when we are watching haram movies 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 hrs we are fine we dont get tired in the path of shaytan but when Allah invites us to his path all of the sudden we are tired.
      Get real dude. It is a disease and trying to run from that reality only harms you not benefits. You.
      Many of the muslims will stand to go to amusement parks,concerts ,airports disters go to without mahram with no problem.
      But 1hr 2 hrs of taraweeh we need breaks for.

    • @ismailah4576

      @@ismailah4576 You are projecting a lot onto me. I never said any of those things. You are strawmaning me. And once again it's not a disease of the heart. Not paying attention is Salah Is a normal thing and happens to even you. But taraweeh is voluntary, remember the person DOES NOT have to attend he can stay home and be not be sinful. Even if he comes but doesn't pay attention is better than him not coming at all. But to say you have a disease heart is a stretch. Encourage ppl to have Khushu and teach them ways but don't tell them they are sick if they struggle to concentrate in a voluntary prayer.

    • @killerboyak
      @killerboyak 2 года назад +12

      While i understand that taraweeh is volutary, you completely missed the point. Having qushoo in salah is a blessing from Allah, some surah you know the translation so you have more qusho’o than the others, the mind wanders when it doesn’t understand what is being recited. But this does not give you a pass to say oh its normal its better to stay home ya sheikh come on, Allah says in the quraan, when the quraan is recited shut up! And listen so that you may receive mercy. Even if you don’t understand you just listen closely to the arabic and there will be kusho’o.
      Coming to the matter of a sick heart, if you’re making excuses rather than working on a relation with Allah better and not leaving any opportunity to earn his reward specially in blessed ramadhan which comes once in an year, you really have to look at the condition of your heart, and ask yourself some very hard questions. He talks about people who hate it when the rakaah is long, who are furious to stand for long time, who want to finish the salah as quickly as possible and then go back to dunya , these kinds of people might have disease in their hearts. Not saying i am free from this, we have all been there. Our job is to constantly purify our hearts and only Allah can help you with it as long as you’re sincere in your effort and true to yourself and him in dua’a. May Allah make it easy for us.
      “And nothing will help them on the day of resurrection except those who return to me with a sound heart (Qalb Saleem). May Allah make us one of them

    • @killerbill8993
      @killerbill8993 2 года назад

      @@killerboyak Okay let's go thru this again. I'm not making an excuse , I'm saying this is a normal occurrence. It happens to everyone. I wouldn't call it a disease. A lot of us don't understand Arabic. But we still attend taraweeh and do our best even if our mind wanders. As for what he's saying is very unrealistic. Think about it, who would give up staying home and enjoying personal time doing something they enjoy and come to the masjid for a voluntary prayer only to stand there the entire time pissed off and hating the process. You don't have to be there. You can just go home No one is forcing you come or stay. That's like me choosing to voluntarily fast and then complain that I hate being hungry and thirsty. who does that. His analogy makes no sense. This guy is just virtue signaling over hypothetical scenarios that don't happen so that he can make a dumb point. Ain't no standing there fuming and pissed off. Most people come to the masjid because they want to be in the house of ALLAH and pray... they fall short sometimes in the prayer. It happens. No one is perfect and GOD doesn't want perfection.

    It all depends on the length of traweeh. I'm my local masjid it's minimum 1.5 hrs. And salah starts at 10.15. Finish at 11.45. Then you have to wake up for sahoor, pray fajr and then wake up for work at 7.30.
    I don't think a person has a sick heart if they want the imam to shorten the length of traweeh.
    Again a person making a prater to say they knocked on other doors and now they are knocking on Allah's door could mean a person has tried getting assistance from others which is permissible but have realised Allah us best Provider.

    I think the problem is thay we as a nation are so far away from the arabic language that we can't appreciate the recitation of the quran in taraaweeh. I think in relation to the dua it is due to the fact that both parties contribute I.e. the imam makes the dua and the listeners say ameen so it's like they are contributing wa allahu ta'3alla a'3lam

      @Quantum-1157 2 года назад

      You do have a point but tragically even in arab countries this is observed - he gave the example of Saudi Arabia as well. The problem seems to be not controlling the desires the way they should be in our lives amd so Satan sneaks in and this Fasad is created whereby people get emotional in duas and not while listening to the Book.

He then said: ‘Some of you turn people away. Anyone of you who leads congregational prayer should keep it short, for the congregation may include people who are weak, old and who have urgent business.’” (Related by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Ahmad, Ibn Majah and others).

We are all prone to errors, and when you see someone in error and you can help correct it, you should do so.
      If he was just trying to bring light to this error, he could have done so in a better manner, as correction should be via advice, not condemnation.
