As someone who never played the OG RE4 until very recently, I cannot see how anyone thinks it is better than the remake. I give it full credi for being the OG and incredibly innovative and a trailblazer. But if you play the two games side by side in 2024, there is no comparison. The remake, especially with the added Separate Ways DLC, is vastly superior in almost every way except nostalgia.

Village was my second RE game and it is the only RE game that I have played that I didn't finish, let alone replay multiple times. After playing RE4, Village just seems like a pale imitation. Hate the main character and all the bosses are terrible except for Lady Dimitrescu. Don't get me started on the puzzles.
i love how when you said "residnet evil 7 ALMOST perfection" I knew immediately that the reason the almost is in the sentence is soly because of the boat section (and maybe allan. fuck allan)
Id put re4 OG in “Great” as well for a similar but also opposite reason, i think gameplay wise it builds on everything in 4 so perfectly, especially the melee system and the immaculate mercenaries
Really enjoyed the ranking. Im happy to see what was in the perfection list. Couldn't agree more. Im still attempting to play through them all. Too many games, not enough time!

In my opinion, resident evil 6 was a great game. Who cares if it’s not scary. I liked it
I agree... It only ranked so low cause it's not a good RESIDENT EVIL game, but it's still a good game.
