Hi! Thank you for the heads up about the video! Its really great to see the swatches. I'm usually ambivalent about gansai paints, because I tend to glaze with watercolours, but the colour curation is stunning and I'm really tempted.
Oh I see… at first it said it didn’t ship to Ireland but I kept it saved it on my cart and after it did. You can also check for proxy service maybe? I used it quite often to ship things from Japan. Their name is actually FromJapan
Not really, as it’s gansai it has a tendency to be more on the sticky side. If you leave excess paint, for example, it dries a bit shiny. As with every paint, the better the paper also, the better they look.

Thank you 😊 I got mine delivered via DHL and I didn’t have to pay anything extra. I think Amazon charges everything at once, otherwise DHL would have requested me to pay, and I ordered from them at least three times. I’d say go for it!

@@sunnycharacter try Amazon Japan, you can see the final price before purchasing in your local currency. And in the US you have no custom fees so it may cost you less than I paid.

@@kathyb521 Amazon Japan is not bad, the shipping fee is affordable and it didn’t take too long to arrive (maybe a week). There is so much there you cannot find anywhere else, and other things you can but would be double the price. I love shopping there.
@@kathyb521 you add your card like in any other Amazon. At the beginning it asks for phone number in Japan etc. but you can just skip it. You basically just create a new Amazon profile there.

They have beautiful and somewhat unique textures too… you can always use them together with your regular watercolours ;)

I have the Boku undo sets, 6 colors ea set and they’re so pigmented the pans require no pre activation!
They have nice dark tones too
