- The VooDoo Hitch. Probably one of the most amazing systems that I have learned.
With this setup, you are able to pull and load a rope, then release rope and you DON"T LOSE YOUR TENTION! It stays taught. This Progress Capture setup will save you time and energy.
There is no mechanical device. Only the Rope, Carabiner and a Pulley. It's packed with Mechanical Advantage.
It's so easy to tie and use.
A must have for anyone who does rope work of any kind.

Awesome bro. Thank you!
Respect~ Thanks for the video. clear and useful as hell
Sure thing. I'm glad it helped.
how come you do a farmers/alpine knot for the first loop and then a figure 8 on the second one? is there a reason you can't use the same knot for both? is it a vector thing? also i'm assuming in a pinch, the pulley is optional and you basically just need anchor points.
The figure 8 is easier to tie when trying to make a knot that is at a specific location on the rope. I measured out the loop then I can easily make the knot there. Outside of that, there is no real reason you couldn't use a different knot. Great question. I hope my answer makes sense.
it does. thanks.@@FunDadAdventures
You went so fast on the first knot I couldn't follow so I stopped watching.
Thank you for the comment. I am sorry I lost you on that knot. The video was more of a "how to set up the voodoo system" and not really a "knot tutorial", so some basic knot knowledge is required for a complex set up like this. The knots used were listed at the end of the video so that if anyone has any questions, they can further research the different types of knots. Several were used.
@@FunDadAdventures No prob. Just though you may want to know an outside perspective. 👍
