Literally the perfect recipe! I have been making this for about a year and we are still in love! I just put a batch in and it made me think to come leave a review. I added one more egg to get 8 jars worth since my husband and I eat them most of the week. Thank you so much :)

Thank you so much! The video was straight to the point. Tried looking up other recipes but they were overkill on the time and didn't use a sous vide so this was great.

*🤪🤪Great value for the money. Got this for my son and **MyBest.Kitchen** he made a 3 lb beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner. 😊😊😊Best filet I've had outside a top end steakhouse. ✅✅✅So good, I bought 2 for myself.*

What did you add into yours? I would add green chilis. I guess that's the Coloradoan in me. Haha

How about sour cream instead of cottage cheese?

    amazing!
question: do you have to sanitize the jars like normal canning or does SV actually takes care of that.
second question: do you have to tighten the lids ? can you reuse the lids ?

    • @bloozedaddy
      @bloozedaddy 2 года назад

No sanitizing and you can resuse everything... Lids included. You're not canning here... Just using canning jars for the process.

RE: Klore. It could be you and the Starbucks employee are from different countries and she/he used spelling that he/she could pronounce like you pronounced your name. I used to use the name Szczygielski at restaurants. Every now and then the name taker would take the name and not ask how to spell it. Generally they pronounced it properly (shhtuh GELL skee with a hard G).

120 mil jars, 6 metric eggs, 360 mil of cottage cheese, 0.01478676L of Yeast, and 3 times the amount of yeast in salt. Add metric amounts of bacon and cheese to metric taste.
Note: while I'm being a bit jokey, those measurements are accurate (I used an online converter).
Note 2: I also understand that what you are requesting is that the conversions be in the original recipe and shown in the video. I agree. Although I'm a current citizen of America, I strongly believe that we should convert to metric.

Amazon UK sell those exact same Bell jars in packs of 4 instead of 6.
So after adding some bacon and cheese, you need about 380ml of egg mix to fill all 4 up to the ridge... thats 50/50 egg, and cottage or cream cheese. Add a drop of milk to the mix if you need to top it up a bit
I make about 420ml of mix and then by the time Ive skimmed the foam off after blending (to avoid a bubbled surface) then its down to 380ml.
Sous vide at 76C for 60 minutes.

You should try living in America, it's amazing! Oh, and you an try using maths to convert the measurements, I think Google can do it for free. Just like America-land of the free and home of the brave......loser

No need for an immersion blender. A whisk or even a simple wooden spoon will suffice. Stop pushing unnecessary products on your viewers.
You don't get to say that you "plated" that dish. You literally just put it on a plate and didn't add anything else. Usually, plating something means adding garnishes or sauces or, heck, maybe some finishing salt. You might as well eat it straight out of the jar as you suggested in the video. If you're gonna suggest plating it as a second way of enjoying the dish, then suggest an actual SECOND way to eat the dish. You might as well have just told us to eat it right side up or upside down 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would eat from the jar, just to save cleaning a dish, but I don't really care about presentation for myself.
