🎉AWESOME video man, thank you so much! I have been looking for an easy to learn approach. I would love to get my hands on the samples and Logic rack you created. How can I check those out? Thanks again so much! Jay 🙏
Hey there, how do I use the Mainstage file and A33 assignment files to import these mappings? I imported the mainstage file, but my mappings are different.@@JeffyG
I can help. Have you owned the A33 for a long time? Might have to restore the defaults for the preset buttons. Do you have the manual? I can send it. @@kylebecker2550
Hey. Awesome. And the reviews are helpful also tbh. Would love the kit. Am in Logic, so if you have a file (plus samples) I can use, that’d be awesome.
Could you also do this with loading sampler into drum machine designer and having a layered midi note that contains each sample? That way each pad in drum machine designer can be assigned to a different piece of kit.
Yes. In fact, DMD is just a container using multiple QSamplers. Prior to DMD, I would have created a multi-instrument in Sampler (EXS24) with multiple layers and different velocity levels. It’s actually simpler to create 1 Sampler instrument for the entire drum kit, in my opinion, but DMD with it’s pads/cells is the more current, popular tool.
Also - if you can share the 62 files, I’ll make a multilayered instrument in the Logic Sampler, and I can send that back to you for you to have as well
THis is agreat video! I also go down rabbit holes on stuff like this (even though my need for drum samples doesn't warrant it). LOL. YOu should check out a video on my channel about using Auto Sampler in Logic to make sampling EZ Drummer/Superior much less daunting.

There’s a MainStage file with the generic A33 assignments. jeffagoddard.com/resources

You can download the DMD kit here jeffagoddard.com/resources
I'm not sure that DMD kit has all the source samples - but I'll check.

did you get the link from my website to download the samples? jeffagoddard.com/resources
I have another group of drum samples you might also be interested in. Just need an email address so I can grant you permission to download the files.
