Thank you for your amazing videos! I have edited the sounds of the drummer, then exported to midi but when I select a multi-channel kit, it restores the sounds of the original drummer kit. Is there any way to keep the sounds that I chose? Thank you!
Is it possible to have a Multi-Channel Kit (Isolated Tracks) and use the Drum Kit Designer (Custom Kit)? Can we Have best of both worlds? Would we need to bus it somehow??
@@scottrhoden I use version 10. However it is still possible in either version. I create space where I whish it to go, then drag the loop over. You can test the fill while in the loop before dragging it will play in tiime. Whatever the loop time sig is. If not a Midi loop create an audio track, then turn it into midi or the other way round. I very rarely like the auto drummer fills. Sometimes I'll drop the track down to a new track and edit the fill the drummer track created.
Welcome to part 15 of my "Logic Pro 11 Essentials" course! In this video I cover the following: 1. How to use Drummer to generate drum patterns 2. How to make Drummer follow other instruments in your arrangement 3. How to swap out kit pieces in Drum Kit Designer 4. How to use multi-output and multi-channel kits with DKD Check out Boombox, the sponsor of this video ➛ bit.ly/boomboxsponsor For mixing/mastering work, contact me at my website ➛ carneymediagroup.com Follow MusicTechHelpGuy on Instagram ➛ instagram.com/musictechhelpguy Chapters: 0:00 Overview 1:02 Sponsor Segment 2:02 Drummer Region & Pattern Presets 4:54 Customize Pattern 7:03 Follow & Details 8:57 Convert to MIDI 11:41 Drum Kit Designer 13:13 Multi-Output Mode 15:17 Multi-Channel Kits

I would also add. I use drum loop fills within logic and place them where I want them. I find it quicker than writing my own.
Good idea. Can you explain how you program that? 😊

Do those multi channel kits put more stress on your cpu and ram ?
Probably a little - there's more channels and more plugins, so more processing, but I've not had any issues running them.
