Most versions, Including the original, feels like something you would hear in an epic. This version feels like something you would hear song right there next to you
amazing how david's cover of this instantly turns it from a pretty good video game song into what could totally be a historical recounting of some epic viking expedition.
I have ejoyed David's work for many years. I happened to come the ore famous original version and liked it, then noticed David's version and had to here it. Many that guy can really sing, much more expressive and powerful version.
Mr.Coffin. ...hear you incredible voice...take a deep breath of the north sea wind (where im living) and i'm ready for a new day. Never heard such an amazing voice that is so full of soul and strength. Thank you !
I am Romanian. So I am like: darn, I haven't figured out by myself that.. yessss, that's right! This is the basic rythm of music. And our church music keeps the byzantin sounding without the rythm. It sounds Turkish because they kept it and under Latin and Turkish influence, OF COURSE our gypsies' music sounds like that, cause after being freed of slavery (my country was the first to do so!) they earned a living by singing in local pubs... This rythm is in their blood. Oldest in world and unaltered 😮 Why didn't I see it?!?! Thank you!!!❤❤❤❤❤
He's been the soundtrack of my pirate crew in Pathfinder RPG before and will ever be. He embodies the shanty and will never be surpassed by anyone. Monumental voice, presence. Absolutely commanding.
Glory glory too your mighty voice when that dreaded day of your passing comes the rainbow bridge will welcome you forth with open arms as a bard of greatness will enter eternity Valhalla will look too your coming with great ambitions
I watched many of David's videos he has a tremendously strong yet calming voice at times. Also I bet he would make a very good opera singer with a voice that strong I'd love to hear him sing nessun dorma or pagliacci
I'd burn one with Mr. Coffin any day. A lot of his material comes straight from the pages of history, and his renditions are all skillfully executed preservation thereof.
Thank you David for covering this, it has shown your incredible talent to more people. You have been doing this for years and this is another epic performance. Good on you.
That was absolutely amazing, I don't think I've ever listened to a song that has given me goosebumps like this before. Thank you so much for that beautiful performance.
Besides I’ve already said it before and I’ll say it again you’ve got true talent and it would be a shame to see them destroy it or anyone destroy it for that matter keep it up my friend keep pushing the boundaries/envelope and keep going on forward no matter how much nonsense they throw at you!❤️💜🦋
SO glad I found this This Is so gonna be me later. So cool man! Beneath all my muscles... I am so this kind of guy right here. Makes me want to take up my singing lessons again from 15 years back. Keep it up it was so good!! :D
This goes without saying and this is coming from a 27 year old female who is partially blind with hydrocephalus and LMC and in the first stage of multiple sclerosis who wasn't supposed to live past 2 years old. You are really good my friend keep up the wonderful work :-) I know talent when I hear it and my friend you've got it! 💜
Will you sing the parting glass? Without the instrumental. I've been trying to find someone to singing it as well as it was sung on the RTE show; rebellion
Give this man any song and he will make it sound and feel better... All hail David Coffin
All hail David Coffin!
There are 1000 versions of this song, but none with this power of David!
I want you to sing at my funeral
Not any time soon I hope.
@@DavidCoffinMusic how does next spring sound?

This is the best version of it imo
YES this guys have power in his soul. lets Sail and sing ,drink Rum and let be FREE
Have to say a wonderful cover of Miracle of Sounds track, and thank you for giving him credit. So many people who cover it don't do that.
amazing how david's cover of this instantly turns it from a pretty good video game song into what could totally be a historical recounting of some epic viking expedition.
1st listen: hey this this isn't bad
2nd listen: wow that's pretty good!
5th listen: OH HO HO HOOO VALHALLA CALLING ME!
Amazing Voice. your video for the festival “roll the old chariot” was amazing! Sounded like Stan Rogers. Thanks for sharing your gift.
When god handed out vocal chords, David queued twice. What a voice !
Mr. Coffin has a gift. As I grow older, my voice is getting weaker. His is strong as an oak.
My testosterone levels sky rocketed.
You gotta get these songs on Spotify dude
I just buried a good friend, a warrior, someone worthy of Valhalla's call. I wish we could have sung as great as you.
Wonderful! There is so much power in your voice and the instruments complement it greatly! Thank you for sharing 😊
This is a man who's soul remembers
this man should never pay for a beer again !!!
YES AND YES AND YES ! YOU ARE ABSOLUTELLY RIGHT SIR.
I am so glad I discovered this man in the most peculiar way, what a legendary voice!
David Coffin your voice has just sent shivers down my spine ❤ singing to my ancestors 💋
Perfect! This is what the song is meant to sound like.
I getting shivers by hearing this voice with this instrument. Sometimes there isn't much needed
Mr. Coffin, your meaningful manner of singing makes each new song very interesting and enjoyable to listen to. Thank you for your work.
way better than the original song. wow, you are a true legend, sir.
I cannot express how much I prefer this version to the one recorded by Paito Perish.
agreed much better
Yes. I agree as well. This is the spirit of the song here in my opinion. Perish seemed far to interested in theatrics than what the song is.
Peyton Parrish ruins the song in my opinion with all his brosatru cringiness and f*ckboy facials he pulled
I would to hear you sing "My mother told me" one day!
vm.tiktok.com/ZMRbwCary/
Even better then in the original, what a legendary voice
POV: You’re a wall and an old historian is staring at you having a PTSD attack after visiting a Norse battlefield.
I’ve never heard this one before. No one else’s will be able to compare.
This cover gave me chills, in a good way. Always enjoy hearing you sing Mr. Coffin! Bravo!
Brilliant, such a voice.

I'm surprised to see a cover of a Miracle of Sound song, but here it is and I'm so happy to see it
