I have ejoyed David's work for many years. I happened to come the ore famous original version and liked it, then noticed David's version and had to here it. Many that guy can really sing, much more expressive and powerful version.

I am Romanian. So I am like: darn, I haven't figured out by myself that.. yessss, that's right! This is the basic rythm of music. And our church music keeps the byzantin sounding without the rythm.
It sounds Turkish because they kept it and under Latin and Turkish influence, OF COURSE our gypsies' music sounds like that, cause after being freed of slavery (my country was the first to do so!) they earned a living by singing in local pubs... This rythm is in their blood. Oldest in world and unaltered 😮 Why didn't I see it?!?!

I watched many of David's videos he has a tremendously strong yet calming voice at times. Also I bet he would make a very good opera singer with a voice that strong I'd love to hear him sing nessun dorma or pagliacci
