I just discovered this song a few days ago and all I can say is WOW!!! I have been listening to it over and over. The lyrics are pure poetry, and the buildup of imagery imbued in the words is genius level creativity. Mr. Dunne, you have painted a Michelangelo level masterpiece with words and sound. I feel this song stir deep within my bones. I really like this version with the bass. The sound of Mr. Hollaway’s voice brings a remarkable depth to the melody. The sound makes me think of a gjallarhorn blaring through a foggy horizon. Signaling to the occupants of all the boats skimming over the waves that land is in sight. And bringing a fervent prayer to the lips of the inhabitants of said land: “A furore Normannorum libera nos”.
Eric seems to be like Odin with his calm demeanor, Gav with his smile gives me Loki vibes, and Payton with his just Vikingness reminds me of Thor, I like it
We need to talk about how happy Gav is in this video! And blowing that kiss at the end-I feel the joy performing this one brings you! Peyton always looks like he just returned from battle all blood soaked and wild! Epic! And Eric brings a chill vibe. That deep base was like the secret ingredient that took this recipe to the next level!
I love how Gavin looks like a very easy-going and happy viking, who would walk up to the church door, knock on it and politely ask for all of their valuables (no need for slaughter, right?), Peyton looks like he's the first one to jump into a battle, swinging a sword and lay claim at a seat at Odins table. And Eric looks like a man who would walk of a ship and give one stern look to the poor Englishmen, who would run away in fright. This is a very nice version of this fantastic song, the bass is amazing!

Peyton's Expressions are always so powerful... You can always see just how much emotion he puts into each of his words... He dosnt just sing, he throws his entire body and every ounce of energy he has.

Okay, I have to happy ramble real quick: I discovered this specific version like an hour ago. I am autistic btw, but I have been hiding my traits for 20 years (I'm 27), also known as Social Masking. This includes suppressing so-called stimmings, physical manifestations of intense emotions. You get the same feeling when clenching your fist with anger - just helps you process and release your emotions into the world. Anyway, as I was listening, as soon as the bass guy came in, the song just made me unbelievably happy - so much so that it actually happened: for the first time in forever, I allowed myself to happy stim in a way that I had been suppressing since I was little. I happy stimmed all the way through the song and ended up even crying with happiness about having found a part of my authentic, real self in this happy stim and realising that IT IS OKAY TO STIM - IT MAKES ME FEEL TRUE TO MYSELF AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY OKAY. I am still processing all this, and noone is going to read this anyway, but if you do, I hope I was able to convey my joy to you and maybe even infect you with it even just a little bit ❤

It took me a while to understand the lyrics as I am Japanese, but their voices were really cool and amazing and I could feel the muscles on the left and the tremendous pressure on the right.

I just discovered this song a few days ago and all I can say is WOW!!! I have been listening to it over and over. The lyrics are pure poetry, and the buildup of imagery imbued in the words is genius level creativity. Mr. Dunne, you have painted a Michelangelo level masterpiece with words and sound. I feel this song stir deep within my bones. I really like this version with the bass. The sound of Mr. Hollaway’s voice brings a remarkable depth to the melody. The sound makes me think of a gjallarhorn blaring through a foggy horizon. Signaling to the occupants of all the boats skimming over the waves that land is in sight. And bringing a fervent prayer to the lips of the inhabitants of said land: “A furore Normannorum libera nos”.
Eric seems to be like Odin with his calm demeanor, Gav with his smile gives me Loki vibes, and Payton with his just Vikingness reminds me of Thor, I like it

And Eric looks like a man who would walk of a ship and give one stern look to the poor Englishmen, who would run away in fright.

Okay, I have to happy ramble real quick: I discovered this specific version like an hour ago. I am autistic btw, but I have been hiding my traits for 20 years (I'm 27), also known as Social Masking. This includes suppressing so-called stimmings, physical manifestations of intense emotions. You get the same feeling when clenching your fist with anger - just helps you process and release your emotions into the world.
Anyway, as I was listening, as soon as the bass guy came in, the song just made me unbelievably happy - so much so that it actually happened: for the first time in forever, I allowed myself to happy stim in a way that I had been suppressing since I was little. I happy stimmed all the way through the song and ended up even crying with happiness about having found a part of my authentic, real self in this happy stim and realising that IT IS OKAY TO STIM - IT MAKES ME FEEL TRUE TO MYSELF AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY OKAY. I am still processing all this, and noone is going to read this anyway, but if you do, I hope I was able to convey my joy to you and maybe even infect you with it even just a little bit ❤

The countries weren't cut the way they are now back then, the Norse are the Nordic of our people, which were the more typical Vikings
It took me a while to understand the lyrics as I am Japanese, but their voices were really cool and amazing and I could feel the muscles on the left and the tremendous pressure on the right.
Don't worry about it. I'm American and I had trouble figuring out everything they were saying. Too be fair, I was also in awe with how good the trio was singing
