I just started a week ago, 5 minutes a day in Wuji hip stance. I tried it a few years ago but didn't stay with it, I restarted learning the Taiji Yang long form too, some weeks back. I'm in the UK 😊@@MovementMonk

I know it works. Have been practicing for years. Off and On is the problem. Im back at it again. The longest stretch of time i have practiced is around three months. Hope I can make this a part of my life, and stay with it.
Consistency is often the biggest challenge, but it’s great that you’re back at it again-that’s what matters most! Standing meditation has a way of grounding us and reconnecting us to ourselves, and over time, it can become a steady foundation in your life. If you’re looking for support to stay consistent and integrate practices like this into your daily routine, I recommend checking out Movement+, this is what we're here for.
I have Sciatica and have practiced Standing Meditation in the past, though not very long. This has rekindled my interest in making this a regular part of my life. Also have hypertension and am hoping this eventually helps with that too
It’s great to hear you’re reconnecting with Standing Meditation! This practice can be incredibly powerful for supporting both physical challenges like sciatica and the regulation of your nervous system, which can have positive effects on hypertension over time. The real key here is consistency-showing up regularly, even for just a few minutes each day, allows the benefits to compound over time. It’s through that steady practice that your body and mind begin to settle into deeper alignment and ease. If you’d like some help establishing a consistent practice, you can explore more tools and support here: www.movementplus.app. Keep going, one step (or one still moment) at a time-you’re on a great path! 🙏
I usually have no back pain. I now have a somewhat serious lower back pain issue. When sitting to standing, thats when i really feel it. Have unfortunately abandoned the standing practice for some time now. But have returned. Hope the practice does the trick.
What are you looking to let go of? Consider looking into... what is the value for me in holding on to it? Feel how this shows up in your body and practice acceptance of that feeling. Hope this may support. If you'd like further support reach out at www.MovementMonk.xyz@@arcadiansounds2850
