First Time Using Magnum 4000 Series Hot Water Pressure Washer

Picked up a new Magnum 4000 series Hot Water Pressure Washer (similar to a Steam Jenny) at an auction and trying it out for the first time. It melts the dirt off my truck!

How has the unit held up and have you used it much?
Do you need to keep the water flowing? Or can it sit for a couple minutes?
U can buy all kinds of “tips” for it…my TroyBuilt had only 3…got 2 more(mid range)@Lowes.
I wonder why are so many of these sold on many auction sites???
How's the machine now
Does the water get steamy hot?? I have grease and grime on my dumptrucks that needs that type of temperature to break the grime down. Any info will be greatly appreciated!
Yes it gets up to 220 degrees and it’s constant, it will be the smartest purchases you can make😁
hope you have better luck with that machine than i did. they only sell that particular model at auctions. mine only had a couple tips as well. what part of ohio are you from?

What happened to your hot water pressure washer? Is there a fault in the machine that I can avoid having?
It only comes with the 2 sprayers and alwsys hold the water nozzle hand on or you will burn out the motor. Thats for any washer, hot, cold, small or large.

@@seungk8607 when you want to run a washer hold the nozzle so water comes out before you start the engine. It will only trickle out, but when you start it the pressure will come. Never let unit run with jo water coming out of spray nozzle.
You can buy the tips anywhere they're not particular to brand just psi rating
Not sure if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend for the last weeks xD

So far it is nice Only part that I am not sure of is the off brand engine . It looks like a Honda from a distance. Looking into getting the rotating nozzle and the sand blasting kit for it. Let me know if you buy the pressure washer. Thanks for commenting and watching
Very good Machine !! I have a 2012 model I did some modifications to mine ,,, I replaced the unloader , put a regulator/unloader on it ,(it gives you time to move hoses around and re-curculate water without over-heating the pump ) also put a ball valve on the pump to take P.S.I. pressure off the pump for re-starting , I also eliminated the soap induction, and just use a foam cannon ,(less restrictions) they are made in CANADA and as far as odering parts ,,, believe it or not I've ordered them and received them the next Day ( even during C-19 )

I have not had problems with the burner. Just o rings in the handle.
I would start with connections. And work backwards from there.

Hey check your battery. I just had a dead battery and pull started it. No heat. Charged the battery and then start working
@@rushedscheduledfun3963 Hi, are you still facing the issue with the battery? Ours keeps on getting dead in 2h every time even when we charge it to 100%. We don't know what is causing the problem, brand new machine.
@@beans.for.presidentI think the problem on mine is maybe the key left in the on position. I use mine only every few weeks. So I turn off the gas valve and let run out of gas. I think I leave the key to on and the knob burner on.

This is realy Heavy 400 Lbs , it cant be mobile ...
It rolls pretty well, maybe if you have a trailer to haul it. I kinda like that it is really hard for people to borrow the pressure washer

You can put it in trailer or high cargo van if you install the electric winch
