- Finally!! I finished (minus some small additions later lol) the custom Paludarium for my crested gecko with neon tetras and albino bristle noses definitely want to do churro cabinets and display cabinets later on and make them paludariums I have an explanation on how I did it on RUclips just because the video couldn't get any shorter than 12 and half minutes lol
MD is where its at you'll learn a lot from him i just got started in this as well Ive been in at it for 7 mouths and i have 5 very successful tanks thanks to watching his videos day and night for your first build this is really amazing man 5 out of 5 Ive seen some build and this blows it out of the water for the first time great job
Thank you! I really appreciate it! However this one is now getting relocated to a friends reptile room to make room for my black throat monitor bioactive.
Nice your water is so clear!
What’s the size of the enclosure? if I may ask.
What size is your enclosure?
Its a 18x18x36 with a 10gal aquarium
Everything still going good? Lets get an update!
Sorry for the late reply, Update the setup is performing wonderfully. However, I need to find it a new home unfortunately due to my limited space and needing to make room for my Black Throat monitor.
@@ethanphillips447 thats awesome you found a way for this to work with a crested gecko! Where are you located i may can out a word out if you need to send the stuff on a vacation
Still doing well?
Absolutely! with crystal clear water with API CO2 Booster
are you ever worried about the crested gecko falling in
Not after doing research, turns out they're excellent swimmers but obviously you need to leave them a way back up which is the green vine you see. The only issues I have ran into, is the crickets left in for hunting at night will fall in, so I haven't bothered to try and just feed with tongs.
Does the crested gekco waste hurt the water quality?
It does not actually. In fact, the only thing hurting the water quality right now is the pest snails that somehow got into my tank off of one of the plants that I had purchased from the local pet store.
@@ethanphillips447 i feel only thing that sucks buying local plants sometimes is the pest
Ive learned at Repticon from some people who do nothing but bioactive setups including paludariums, they suggested assassin snails for pest snails over the dojo loach to most effective.
crested geckos doesnt live in a paludarium
Well mine does and loves it 5 months later.
