Back in 1970s when at sea near Japan, I can recall listening in to Japanese light house weather broadcasts and thinking they were sending very bad Morse, then it dawned on me they were sending Japanese code.
Nice looking key but I imagine if it like other GHD keys I've seen for sale It's purchase price is just insane! I will stick with my 78 year old near mint condition 1943 Vibroplex Original bug, as it works just as good and at a lot less money.
I feel the same about Begali keys, my WW2 Lionel J36 and 1957 Vibroplex Original Deluxe do a good enough job for me, my Junker hand key is as good as I'll ever need and the Bencher paddle I got when an old pal died will certainly "see me out" The two bugs and the Junker cost me a total of about 150 USD on eBay. I am ex professional marine and signint operator and view keys as tools not as jewels.
