I thoroughly enjoyed the film. Showing all the phases of the elks September and how the hunt fails and success. Length was fine. Guessing where the once in a lifetime area was - looks like Utah. Your wife is a true angel for letting you pursue your passion and film it for us. Does she hunt?
Outstanding! Bless you for not filling this excellent production with endless scenes of igniting stoves, and describing the days events with a full mouth. You showed, not told!
Everything I expected in a film made by the team at Exo. I can't wait to see the rest of the films. The perfect way to cap off the Experience Project. Keep up the amazing work1
Congratulations Justin! And super glad you guys take the time to capture the camera guy. I’m often the one behind the lens so I know how it is capturing the moments but also wishing people would just take the time to include me as well. Y’all have a great team! Also, loved the K4 5000 this year! Used it on my buck/doe hunt this year in CO and me and the crew packed out 5 mule deer here in CO. Thanks for all you guys do over at EXO and for making quality packs!
Thanks gentlemen. Looking forward to watching this series. Love the podcasts. On another note: I emailed you guys a few months ago now. Did a fly in backpack hunt in NZ with Owen. Was a great trip your backpack what amazing. I have the last of the k3 and Owen has the k4 loved how he had the drink bottle on the hip. I asked if there was a retrofit for k3. Sadly no 😢. However I went back to NZ to the Sika show. Found a NZ company called Twin Needles. Just like you boys they make good gear. I seen a drink bottle that I thought would work on the K3. Took the putt as my backpack was back at home in Australia. Got home and it worked great. Same colour. Haven’t tested it yet, but it seems to work. 👍 I’ll email pictures.
Exceptional job guys. I’m an avid listener of the podcast and you guys did a great job with this film. I’m excited to see the rest of the hunts from hunting up here as well. Well done!
Absolutely amazing. I have been following you guys since i bought one of your K4 packs. just the best content out there. I fully appreciate and trust what the EXO team put out. Thank you from the northern BC/ Yukon border. Can't wait to see the rest of the series. Keep up the great work
I have a complaint… why the heck did it take you so long to come up with the Experience Project Steve? There are so many hunting videos out there, but this style of video (and I’m only 17 minutes in) is what rises to the top. Great balance of beautiful scenery, showing off cool gear, and pitching each other crap. I feel like I’m hanging with you in camp. Can’t wait for the rest of the videos. Well done guys! Now, back to the video.. 😉👍
Phenomenal. Great work on the planning, the hunt, the filming, the production, the podcast - everything is phenomenal.... I don't know about those packs though. ;)
The second I saw this video up, I crept away from the sleeping wife, threw the laptop atop my torso and immersed myself! Everyone has their Sports team. I now have my HUNT team! Thank You all for sharing the experience! Love the gear highlights. Please share the Puffy info #ExoFlex
First thing I want to say is this is one of the best quality hunting videos I have seen. I would expect nothing less from you guys. Love the gear tips. What is the attachment product Mark is using to attach his binoculars to his trekking pole
Love the film. You are all studs to do a backpack hunt in Alaska!! What line of clothes are you all wearing? Specifically the lightweight hoody & puffy jacket?
The puffy, pants, and mid-layer are all pieces that we helped design and test from Outdoor Vitals. They should be releasing them at some point in 2025.
Yes, unguided and public. Most of the cost is transportation/logistics, so that will vary widely based on how you plan the hunt, and how your group splits/shares costs. $2,500-5,000 is a wide but realistic range.
Justin was using my rifle. It’s a custom 6 Creedmoor. We dive into a lot of details about the gun on this video: ruclips.net/video/ufME1FkItl8/видео.htmlfeature=shared
What a stunning production. If you’re going to do something, do it right. Setting the standard in hunting films.
Hunt backcountry podcast is also an excellent source of no bs unbiased gear reviews. You guys are great
Thanks for that!
Yeah but these guys always recommend the same pack every year, seems like they have a favorite…😂
Been waiting eagerly for these films to start dropping! Y’all crushed the production as expected. Well done Justin!!
Congrats Justin. Well deserved. What a bull! These exo films are something else.
Amazing!!! They're on my bucket list!
I’m thankful that you waited til I got off work to post this video.

Appreciate that

Appreciate that, Billy. You mentioned a lot of the things that we are trying to do with these films, so I am glad to hear that connected.

Haha! The puffy is a prototype from Outdoor Vitals. (So are the pants and mid-layer.)
Excellent video quality justin 👍

What is the attachment product Mark is using to attach his binoculars to his trekking pole

What layer are you guys wearing? looks like an insulated wind stopper. Awesome job guys! love this series
Love this!
Great video . Looks like great gear….too bad I can’t afford it but I can’t afford an Alaska hunting trip either.
13:58 Did he just Gump it? “Ya neva know what ya gonna get.” 😂
Nice work!
Love the film. You are all studs to do a backpack hunt in Alaska!! What line of clothes are you all wearing? Specifically the lightweight hoody & puffy jacket?
The pants, mid-layer, and puffy jacket are all prototypes from Outdoor Vitals that we helped design and test.
Hell yeah!!!
I thought you guys were gonna show the wound tracks?
We are working on a post-season recap of cartridge/bullet performance and can show more then.
@ lol were those normal flys or mosquitos all around you? That also would’ve been an acceptable answer
what kind of hunting clothing/gear are yall wearing? the Unbranded puffy etc?
The puffy, pants, and mid-layer are all pieces that we helped design and test from Outdoor Vitals. They should be releasing them at some point in 2025.
@@ExoMtnGear awesome. thank you. Also, what are the specs on that folding stock rifle? Caliber, stock, barrel etc.
Thanks for the content. Assuming you guys were unguided and on public. What is the price range of a hunt like this ?
Yes, unguided and public. Most of the cost is transportation/logistics, so that will vary widely based on how you plan the hunt, and how your group splits/shares costs. $2,500-5,000 is a wide but realistic range.
What is the the green jacket is Steve wearing at 3:50?
That is a prototype mid layer we are working on with Outdoor Vitals clothing company. Should be for sale summer-ish of 2025. - Steve
Does anyone know the brand of the zip hoodie at 13:13? Thanks.
The pants, midlayer, and puffy that everyone is wearing are all prototypes from Outdoor Vitals
Been looking foward to these coming out. That 6mm creed looks like it barely worked. 😂
Just barely ;-)
Also, man you hang out with some lengthy dudes Steve, how do you keep up! :)
Why whispering in camp on day 1? Also every time Steve says "Shooter Bull" everyone should take a shot of whiskey. Great video, love it!
Haha! I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to play drinking games at our expense throughout the rest of this series.
Justin what rifle setup you have ?
Justin was using my rifle. It’s a custom 6 Creedmoor. We dive into a lot of details about the gun on this video: ruclips.net/video/ufME1FkItl8/видео.htmlfeature=shared
