- **********FILMED BEFORE UK LOCKDOWN***********
This week we took the Mars Gauss Metal detector out for a spot of metal detecting, we went back over some pasture fields that we had done partly with the Minelab Vanquish 340.
It was a cold COLD day but we managed to keep going till we found some cool finds and a little bit of silver too :-)
We have a great facebook group where we and you can share all the finds and information so we hope to see you all there :-)

Not sure why I haven't come across you guys earlier. Serious detecting, great comedy. You have me laughing every time. I can see yous on the telly one day. 'Carry On Detecting'. Need to give that one some thought mind you. 'In Pursuit Of Wealthiness'. Hmmmm.... maybe 😂
HahHa carry on detecting :-) we appreciate you stopping by and watching and for your support :-) we do just try and have some good fun while out detecting :-)

Thank you Anne, appreciate you stopping by :-)
Great hunt guys, the enthusiasm is infectious, some good finds and tatt 😂, keep up the detecting and good luck too you , from South Ayrshire. 👍👍👍
Thank you matey, hahaha yes a good hunt would not be a good hunt without the 500 holes of tat haha
The gauss is a pleasure to use perfect balance and excellent build quality. Len.
Yes I agree, probably one of the better build quality's I've seen in a detector in this price range. Thanks for watching matey
Nice cold day of digging for you guys. Was like that for the other day. Whenever silver comes out of the ground makes the cold go away. Lol. Thanks for sharing guys. See ya on the next
Finding a nice little sliver is a great feeling :-) yes its been a little chilly tha last few weeks we were out before the UK lock down.. Thanks for watching matey
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel you’re welcome my friend. Yeah hopefully we will not get back on lockdown. 🤞🤞🤞. It’s the chilly time if the year. Good thing you built some videos up.
Nice hunt guys nice to watch something while we are in lockdown hopefully we can get out again.

I was out with England’s history before lockdown he was showing me the Gauss. Looks well made. He told me to tap Spin a disc up for one. I can’t be arsed though these days. I did all that with Nokta for years. Just happy using my Deus I never even use my equinox any more. Fair play for getting out in Yorkshire while we are in lockdown. Although it’s technically not allowed just now and you shouldn’t be doing it maybe it’ll be the only way we do get out in the future.
Yeah I was watching his posts about it too, I think its probably one of the better built machines I've had but my true love is my equinox:-) ahh no matey we not been out during lockdown, all this was filmed before lockdown, were luck that we have a few more ready for the next couple of weeks :-) take care matey
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel my Equinox lives behind the TV. Only machine I’ve actually paid for myself these last five years. I’ve had pushing ten grands worth sent to me to test and promote. I never say I got them for free lol. Because if they were worth 10k I probably gave them 30k back in promotion with my field test articles in the Treasure Hunting magazine, my videos, my extensive Facebook posts about them. Nowadays I’m a bit jaded with all that. As for getting out in lockdown well I think there is plenty more lockdowns to come this year. So all kinds of people will be forced to choose for all kinds of reasons if they are going to shrug that forced yoke off and get back to life.
Nice Hunt lads, some nice finds! 👌
Thanks matey :-) apologies you stopping by
Yay 😀 that is nice coin.
Thanks guys :-) just had your last live on in the background, enjoy listening while at work :-)
nice finds and a nice fancy coin really interesting
Thank you Treasure WOMAN :-)
Nice job boys could you still feel your fingers by the end of the dig? 😂
Haha it was a cold one
Watching re play.
Yes hahaha :-).
been a minute since i been by love he channel and the content finally hit the bell (which helps). hope all is well and getting better
Hahaha thanks matey, im a lurker on your channel and have been for a while matey :-) keep up the great work 👍
I'm liking the look of that Gauss. Some deep holes there! If I can drag myself away from the E-Trac I might actually get a day out with my Gauss. Had it a couple of months and it's still unused.
Hey Adrian, yeah the gauss does find some deep down stuff but takes a while to get used to some of them tones haha, I think its a great detector
Another good day in the field, congratulations for being nearly one you must be doing something right you have got nearly two-and-a-half thousand subscribers your first year keep the videos coming all the best from Devon 🍻👍👍😃
Hahaha thank you matey! Yes its been a great first year and we never thought it would go as well as it did. Thank you for your support
Parabéns pelo canal, vídeo muito bom.

Hahaha or is it football because I live in Huddersfield Town? :-) 🙃🤔🤪
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel haha no just the woolly goat and the pig stables 🤣 meaning not used to rural life
@@janegrieve hahahahahaha ohh 😂 🤣 😅 that was a massive goat though
Is the Mars Gauss machine a British made machine? Haven't heard of it over here in the States.?
Its from Ukraine 🇺🇦 there pretty big in making aftermarket coils for all the big brands in metal detectors :-)
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel Thank you. I knew my 15" NEL coil came from Ukraine, but did NOT know they made machines also.

I haven't been out metal detecting since the November lockdown and won't be until this lockdown is over. I can't understand how people can still be going out detecting in this lockdown. Unless they class it as exercise but even then there is the 2 meter distancing in place. If this video was made back in the summer then fair enough ( the frost on the ground says otherwise ). Some people seem to think they can do what they like and don't care for others. I will wait for everything to go back to normal. P.s. it isn't like a few months not detecting would hurt me. 40 years of metal detecting in English fields has given me everything you could ever want to find and some. Also the jumping about and larking that UK yt channels do is as boring as it comes.
We abide by the rules, these videos were filmed before this current lockdown as we mentioned in the video description:-) I feel the same, I think people should stick to the rules and be responsible.
We have found a few great finds over the year and just enjoy showing our finds, the larking around is just the pair of us having a fun day doing somthing we have a great passion for.
Thank you for watching :-)
Previous to this current lockdown we were in Tier 3 so was legally allowed to metal detect. But like I said we abide to the laws and rules :-) I know not everyone does and I think that's wrong.
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel I agree. I want to get out there detecting again. After the first lockdown ended and we could get out again my detecting club were doing 2 digs on a Sunday so 2 sets of 6 on different farms to keep within the rules ( Logistical nightmare for our site finder ). At the start of Novembers lockdown we all said that is it until this virus lets us all get back to normal ( god knows when that will be ). I know people who don't stick to the rules and it drives me mad. HH.
Yes I cant wait till all gets back to normal :-) then me and shaun can atleast share a car again rather than meeting up at location, we currently have a couple more videos made and ready for uploads but after that then we will be like the rest and just have to wait till its safe and responsible to get back out doing the hobby we all love so much! Take care matey and before we know it we will all be back at it! HH
Hi Hi !! Russians In the House)))# United Treasure Hunters
Thanks matey
Salve meglio equinox 800 o Mara gauss per campi e boschi? Grazie
il Minelab è migliore del 100%.
Great video guys
Thanks for stopping by Andrew :-)
Can you remind us what the mystery coin was? Text was obscured by subtitles. Some kind of commemorative medallion?
It was a commemorative medal of the crowning of Queen Victoria in 1838
