    I hope you'll join me on my quest.

    Push Down

    Omg I think your absolutely great at the chair! I see people commenting that your more suited to the reformer. I've done both and of course the reformer is easier for most people. Love this routine ! Wunda chair is challenging

      Oh thank you so much for saying that - I am not sure how one seems better at one or other apparatus - all the exercises everywhere in the studio give our bodies the same challenge for our body issues LOL... And yes, the Wunda is no joke. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your kind words here with me :) xox

    You have a wonderful library videos. I was wondering if you would possibly do a tutorial in regards to the different springs and the placement of them. I’m honestly not sure. When I hear someone say 1 on 1 2 on 3 Etc. I’m honestly not really sure. Nor am I sure about the colors. Thank you so much

      Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words on my videos. And yes I would love to do a video about the different springs on the Wunda Chair and why you'd want to use which ones. I am not an expert on the springs that are different colors, tho. My understanding is that there are some Pilates trainings that have colored springs for the Reformer and Cadillac - have you also seen different colored springs on the Pilates Chairs as well? On the classical Wunda Chairs the springs are both the same tension. It would be great tho to talk about why to choose which placement for the springs and why you'd want 1 or 2 springs for different exercises and different bodies. Thank you so much for the suggestion and stay tuned :) Have an awesome day! xo

      @PilatesAndrea  5 лет назад

      Hi Kelly - thanks for watching and oooh that is a great suggestion. I dearly love the Grasshopper on the Ladder Barrel but I find it quite a challenge on the Chair and the Reformer. Thank you so much for suggesting this and I will add it to my list! Have a great day! xox

    I have been giving nothing but love to my mat and reformer and just stare at my chair :(
    Just had a personal session on the Wunda Chair and I felt like a beginner...gonna recommit. Thank you. And thanks for the warning...my Star got no lift 😂😂😂😂

      Diane Adams-Strickland OMG some Star days are like that LOL and good for you. I am like you a little as well my Mar and Reformer never get as dusty as the poor little chair. But I do give love to the High Chair as well... so maybe I feel a bit better about this whole thing ha ha. Thank you so much for watching and for kicking Wunda butt in your lesson! xox

    Absolutely loved this routine. I'm so proud of you and can relate to my chair gathering a bit of dust. Love that you recognize the need to switch or use the apparatus's that you tend to not use so much! Great tutorial! I saved it to one of my favorites.

      Thank you so much Geraldine - it was a good challenge for me to do... not as easy as my other challenge on the Small Barrel - the Chair is definitely not as warm, fuzzy or feel good as the barrel LOL - Thank you so much for watching and here's to us both getting onto our Wunda Chairs a little bit more :)

    Thank you. Great cues for resisting the spring it was really helpful. How many springs for star and twisted teaser?

    • @PilatesAndrea
      @PilatesAndrea  Год назад

      Hi Doris, thank you so much for watching and for sharing your question. The Twisted Teaser is usually done on 1 middle spring. For the Star, see what enables you to have a prayer of lifting the pedal but not so heavy that it pushes you around. The springs you use for the Pull Up can be a good guide. I use 1 bottom + 1 middle spring for both the Pull Up and the Star. Thanks for your kind words on my teaching and keep up the good work :) xox

    Andrea - Great video. You mentioned a balance series at the top of the Wunda Chair that Romana included. I couldn't see the link that you referenced. Can you re-post or include in the reply? Thank you.

    Hi! Where can I find an affordable wunda chair?

    • @PilatesAndrea
      @PilatesAndrea  4 года назад +3

      Hi Deb - this is a good question. In some ways it depends on your definition of 'affordable.' The Gratz Wunda Chair I have is not inexpensive but I will never need to purchase it again. It is a workhorse and has the perfect dimensions for all the exercises in the Wunda repertoire. That being said, I would discourage the purchase of combo chairs ... you may look on the pre-loved market for apparatus. Classical chairs are made by Gratz, Pilates Designs, Legacy Pilates in Turkey, and soon Balanced Body will have a Wunda Chair as part of their contrology line of apparatus. There is also Techno Pilates which is in Italy I believe. Check these out. And good luck to you on your search! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your thoughts here with us. xox
