Thank you for showing this - I had no idea it was an option. I have a minor varicocele that started giving me symptoms 6 months ago. Not major but slight pain that I feel every day. Just enough to notice it.. Sometimes stretching and cold packs help. Don't feel it when I lie down to sleep or stay comfortably seated for a while. This is a procedure I was not aware of. Glad I came across this.
@@TheIRtist i have a varicocele and they tried this procedure on me to tie off the veins and they said they could not do it cause the veins were all ready tied off, and i still have my variocles and still in pain, alo my right testicle is twice the size of my left,and the left one sucks up into my abdomon

I also had varicocele and I knew it by internet low energy (testestrone) level ,pain etc.after that I knew a solution,when testicle (scrotum) hang low I put a cloth around it and gently knot it ,not too lose so it drop nor too hard so it prevent flow of blood ,it supported the blood to go upward and in result cooling the scrotum area.I am not a doctor but I very much controlled varicocele.I repeat again don't knot clot around your scrotum too hard.

After taking bath or exposed to cold, scrotum shrinks but when it hung low then put cloth around it and knot, so it support your valves to pump your blood upward , which is main causes of over heat in scrotum area and in result decreases your spearm count,low testosterone level and you may feel low energy or low sex drive .

@@jarrodshetley9248 I have varicocele on both sides, and bilateral hydrocele, along with mildly swollen lymph nodes on right side of groin. After the ultrasound and diagnosis, they told me to follow up with my family Dr. but I haven’t. The pain has subsided over the last couple weeks. Not worried about fertility side of things as I already have 2 kids and not planning on anymore. At 35 I believe I’m done with making babies lol. But I’m keeping a close eye on it, as some days are fine, and others are uncomfortable.

I have a bulging vein in my left testicle. The urologist told me there was nothing wrong with me and told me to go back to work. I went to two other drs and they all diagnosed me with something else. @@diaanvorster114 you will feel better if the surgery is done right. Something that is VERY important is do not have sex or masturbate 2 weeks for at least 2 weeks after your surgery. It is so important that you let everything heal correctly so it doesn’t come back. The surgery really helped me. What grade is yours? And what side?

Before you do medical procedure, give me a minute to explain a possible alternative solution.
I was diagnosed with varicocele, I had a dull pain that comes and go. The doctor said it's not severe that I need operation. I tried positive thinking, massaging the groin area, eating healthy etc. Living in South East Asia, I have the benefit of getting reflexology (foot massage) for cheap. It wasn't after a few times I noticed that when I do regular massages I did not notice the dull pain and the swelling was small. When I didn't go after a while, the swelling and pain will appear dramatically.
This leads me to my next finding. A few years ago I had a foot injury due to improper use of spinning cycle. At the time it felt as if I just pulled a muscle. However I noticed after time that my left foot and leg would get tired much easily than my right and my inner butt muscle area had a dull pain that felt good when massaged but it would never go away. Stretches helped. My left foot also have this clicking when moved a certain way. I'm quite sure there must be some kind of misalignment due to the injury.
In any case, I now try to do routine foot massages (although due to the pandemic I try to do it myself) as well as stretches of my foot and leg. I rarely ever see any flare up of swelling and or pain. Perhaps if you're suffering from this, think back whether or not you had foot/leg injury and try massaging. Hopefully this will help you.
Tl;Dr: I have varicocele, possibly caused by a foot injury and somehow affecting blood circulation, does massaging and stretches and now it's almost non existent. Good luck.

I need your honest opinion doc , I’ve had this since I was like 14 I’m now 22. I have this bag of worms type of texture around my left nut . It’s very squishy and I can squeeze it between my finger , its literally like 3 times the size of my testicle . No pain whatsoever . It shrinks significantly when I’m laying down or cold . Is this cancer ?
I think I had mines for 2-3 it is visible for me to see it in warm temperatures but in cold temperature it looks normal as my right testicle. I don’t feel pain or anything. I hope this doesn’t leads me into infertility when I go to the doctor.

Interesting.. I have a bothersome issue I can't seem to get any answer to. For the last 5 years I've noticed my testicles have and penis have been shrinking and I don't hang at all like I used to, especially at WORK and during EXERCISE. If u have no symptoms and and didn't effect your sperm .don't even think about touching it or doing a sergury .I'd regret it .I learned that the hard way .I did the sergury on my left testicule and the sergury didn't go well .now I ended up with a shrunken testicule .I lost Abt 80 per cent it's size and it's not even producing sperm now .I would be much better if I never choosed to go to sergury .also now after 14 years since I did the sergury .I have a new varicocele on my right tesricule and it's kinda painful and permanant .it even effected my testocule size too .it decreased in size .not much but I can tell the difference.and now I'm depressed 😔 of what to do .I take the risque to do the sergury or stay like this and deal with the pain for the rest of my life .I'm afraid the sergury will do the same as it did to my left testicule .which resulted is killing it .honestly I wouldn't wish this to my worse enemies .if I have one advice to give u is DONT EVEn THINK ABT THE SERGURY as long as u have no pain .because sergury can come with greater risques !!

13 years ago i banged the area around my pubic bone against the sharper part of a table. My right testicle swelled up and my scrotum turned blue. Doctors did an Ultrasound and couldn't figure anything out. Smh. Just went home and it healed after like 2 or 3 weeks. Fast-forward to 2 weeks ago. I was parking my car and felt a tug or sting or something around that area. Pain for 2 days and then no pain... followed by an extremely swollen right testicle and spermatic cord. I wonder if it's from my injury 13 years ago. So weird... and I hope it will just heal. I eat and live very healthy.
Hello doctor, a couple months back i went to get a ultrasound because of discomfort in the left testicle. They told me i had a cyst but very small and supposedly every male has it. Symptoms stopped but today i woke up and i can barely walk comfortably without my left testicle being in pain. This occurred to me before but the symptoms went away. Could this be varicocele? If not what do you think.

Yes, most likely is, or an ingruinal hernia or both. I had/have both.

I'av a pain not swelling in both of them (scortem)..... Doctor suggested better to go surgery... But iav a doubt... Does surgery effects on sperm count.. Pls give me a better solution for.... With this problem iam very depressed..
There's no risks with leaving the metal coil in your body? Also, is the patient put to sleep during this procedure?
No & no 😃Also "metal" is only one options, there are other options without coils, such as glue or sclerotherapy.

I have fixed my varicocele by fixing my anterior pelvic tilt.... i had grade 4 varicocele which is the highest level. Now i have grade 1 which is barely noticable...

Which grade of varicocele requires surgery sir? I have a 2/3 varicocele but my sperm count was very good. I'm 18 years old. My doctor recommended a surgery but I'm not convinced as my sperm count is good. What do you think?

I have mild one and I checked my sperm and I’m very very fertile (10 times higher than the average man)
Most people I know that have a mild one are still fertile. My advice is just eat very healthy foods.
