    My though is to do what your saying, but add an electric dump off to open at wide open throttle or higher rpms.

    It’s so confusing, that’s why I don’t run exhaust on my 67 R/T🦶🏾

    So I was thinking of 21/2” exhaust, but with a 318, stock engine, maybe stay with 21/4”?

    • @UsefulEntertainment
      @UsefulEntertainment  3 месяца назад +1

      i would say if you are going to run true duals, yeah 2 1/4 would be more than adequate on something like that. hell, i think thats what they ran stock on big block cars in the day.

      @@UsefulEntertainment you're welcome. I'm not an engine builder. I mostly enjoy piecing cars together in mostly stock form. I figure the manufacturer did all the engineering for me so I'll stick close to that. But, if I build a toy down the road then your info will be helpful. Also, it's good advice that I can pass on the kids in my orbit that are learning the game now.

    Getting ready to go Edelbrock 650 cfm/Holley Street Dom intake to the 318, go with 2 1/4” dual exhaust, your thoughts?

    • @UsefulEntertainment
      @UsefulEntertainment  3 месяца назад

      To be honest, I don't think 2.5 would really hurt that combo, as long as your not using a massive primary tube.

    I have to watch your engine build again. You're running flat tops in that engine. Do you have valve reliefs?Your also running speedmaster heads. So at zero deck you should be around 10 to 10.5:1
    You make your reliable power down low no need to buzz to 6500 although stock cast crank and stock rods dictate no bueno on the high revs and its a stck car.
    Spring is here my olds brother.....

    • @UsefulEntertainment
      @UsefulEntertainment  3 месяца назад +1

      Might be more than zero deck lol had to mill 18 thousandths off the block lol.
      I have slight, slight valve reliefs.
      I forget how thick the MLS gaskets are and the heads measured out at 78ccs.
      That's the trick, I make it all down low.
      Right now it's got a 308 posi type O rear in it which I'll probably keep because I like 80 and 90 on the highway but Im sitting on a 323 Buick posi I could swap in.
