    Love how Karen at the church was rude so you took the muscle car to the graveyard as rebellion 😊😂

    Jesus didn’t preach the gospel to those perfect. HE accepted those who were lost. For that woman to kick you out, shows how her knowledge of what Jesus had in mind. HE knew your intentions and HE knows your heart. I would have said thank you but no thank you and continued to film no matter what. Gif would have intervened and that would have ended it. You weren’t there by choice, but by intervention. God put you there. So why not defend HIS name?! Stand your ground in the LORD! HE will provide!

      ya know, i really felt the same. that church feels like a business hidden behind the name of the lord. as nervous as that chick sounded, the cops wouldve been there in 3 minutes. if it were public property, id push back. i was losing day light fast and just wanted to get done.

    Finally a person who realizes that not every old car is a muscle car or hot rod. I have a 1972 Ford Gran Torino 2 door hardtop. Every person who sees the car says that they love my muscle car. It was a family car in 1972. That is how peope saw them in 1972 and that is what they are today.

    • @UsefulEntertainment
      @UsefulEntertainment  7 месяцев назад +2

      It's just the way it is today. Not many people are around today that remember when they were new so I guess they are using today's car logic on them, well it's got 2 doors and it looks sporty, must have been a muscle car.
      Just because it can be, doesn't mean it is.

    I had four Buicks...
    75 Skylark...
    74 LeSabre...
    76 LeSabre
    73 Electra...
    Not to mention...
    My big bro had a
    67 Electra...
    72 Electra....
    85 Skyhawk....
    You remind me of the good ole days when me and my friends were driving around in these cars....
    I love the fact that you..
    Your dad...
    And your friends...
    Are all into these amazing cars ..
    And they are daily drivers....not perfect...
    But meant to be driven!!!!

      yup, im happy to demonstrate that you can have fun with a shltbox edition and actually drive them. not everything has to be a show car.

    Hah ha, you got throwed out if a church! - not many of us can make that distinction, heh heh. Man I dunno, mine has the same setup you have, 350-2, turbo 350, 2.56 - and I clocked 18mpg @75 mph driving from NJ to the 2003 Buick Nationals at Flint Mich. Mine is a convertible I bought in 1978, restored in the '90s with NOS parts, but parts replaced only where needed. Everything kept original down to it's single exhaust. You missed the "pedestrian back up light" in the middle of the back bumper, a distinctive feature only on the '69s, but you did an excellent job on everything else. You don't see these cars everyday, so thanks for letting us check yours out.

    Well done! I had a 68 and it had the Buick version of the powerglide 2 speed automatic. Like you said, 350 two barrel was no slouch, was quick to the next stoplight. I liked and subscribed. thanks! edit, sounds like it might have a high stall speed converter in it

    • @UsefulEntertainment
      @UsefulEntertainment  3 месяца назад

      Nice, I had a 2 speed jet away in my 68 Cutlass for a while ( super turbine 300) is what was in the olds and Buicks.
      I put a 4 speed Muncie in that car.
      Idk, I think it's a stock stall converter but I could be wrong.

    If you think finding parts for that thing, you should try to find parts for a 1965, 66, or 67 because as much as they look alike the are a good bit different hood and trunk panels, but 68 and 69 models are two of the very similar, but different than the 1967, or 1970 models.

    Had one as a winter beater, sent to Buick heaven because of the trans crossmember fail. They are rock solid chassis body wise. Oh, btw don’t forget to tell us not to mess with your EQ settings. Have a 72 Cutlass now.

    • @UsefulEntertainment
      @UsefulEntertainment  9 месяцев назад

      how long was that? buicks use a rubber isolator in the crossmember that rots them out but they are pretty easy to replace. hehe you seen that old eq huh, cool man, cutlass is more my main thing anyway.

    That car, and every Skylark since 1965 could be had as a muscle car up until 1973 where the Buick Regal or Buick Special, could also be a performance car up until 1974.
    With that being said no, that particular Skylark is not a muscle car, but they could be had with a high performance 400 cubic inch big block, up from 1967 until 1969, then in 1970 where you could get them in a 350,or a 455, and even a 455 Stage 1 or even a Stage 2 package, which in 1970 the Gran Sport Stage 1 was the quickest production car buolt and raced in the quarter mile according to a hot rod magazine back in 1970.
    It was also known as the Hemi Killer!
