all hail the algorithm
Lol I use that same fuel pump in my car. I was all ears because I have that same problem when I get to a quarter of a tank.
Glad to see an FD where doesnt have holes in the body with half ass bodykit
Stock bodywork is still the prettiest
Only cuz you mentioned this at the end of the video, but for some reason youtube will never autofill "slip angle". Even if I just searched it, it will not autofill or show it a recently searched. I have no clue why, but one of the reasons I did subscribe was because it was a pain in the butt to look up your channel name lol.
:x if its not submersible rated fuel hose it wont last long. At least its not on pressure side!
We installed submersible hose ;)
Just do a radium engineering drop in surge tank!!
I bought this fuel mat setup years ago. The Radium is expensive and cannot be used with my Bosch 044 pump, so would require two new pumps on top of that. So far the Hydramat works so unless I run into issues I am not revamping the whole fuel setup.
@@TheSlipAngle I get that but the Holley mat is a bandaid fix. Not a fan of them. But to each there own. Also I would find a new 044 now as they are discontinued. So find some new old stock before you can’t!!
Never a good idea to go on boost with a quarter of a tank or less. Many motors blown this way.
God i've missed this FD
Me too!
drove the m4comp,m5comp and m8 comp on track. m8 is a cow. m4 and m5; they do have a lot of power but its setup for mid range torque, and has nothing low and nothing high. its a setup for the average street driver.
Most BMWs are setup to understeer out of the box.
Let us know which cars and coffee? Id love to see some FDs in person!
Hopefully driving content coming?
Once tuned yes. New Spotlight and new Slip Angle test episode
Did it fix the starvation?, i would like to avoid using a surge tank as well
So far so good but I haven't intentionally tried to starve the pump below 1/3rd of a tank.
Algorithm boost
Thank you!
title of the next one with driving, proving the solution works: Sorta Sorted. Ramble away, fun to glean the gems.
old dudes talking fuel tank baffles...
saturday night🙄🙄🙄 ...sandwich and fuel tank vid...........🙄🙄🙄
even the Apollo space missions had problems with fuel moving about......
Its a re..(entry thing) she said.......
thanks guys..

Why not just install a surge tank. That would actually work better.
who comments before they watch the video lol
@@kulluminati777 Well some have their reasons not to use one. I built my own for my FD that fits perfectly in front of the tank on the sub frame career all to avoid putting mine inside the hatch. Sometimes, you just have to be willing to go the extra mile to make something work the way you want it. Setups been perfect and reliable for me after I fixed some of my weld pin holes.
@@kulluminati777 I did watch it. Still didn’t really answer the question. Made excuses.

@@TheSlipAngle I hear you brother but there are other set ups. You don’t have to run the radium set up. The tank can be under the car or in front
