A new bridge in Brooklyn, NBA star Mikal Bridges landed with the Nets after a blockbuster trade and finished season with most points of his career and being named to the 2023 All Defense 1st team..the newest New Yorker is sitting down with Ryan, Channing and Fred to talk about his future in the NBA, leadership qualities he’s learned, the NBA finals and who he sees winning it all as well as what makes some of basketball’s best players so tough to shut down!
The NBA Finals are heating up and playing in both conferences, Mikal shares his thoughts on what teams he thinks has the edge and who will be left standing at the end. He dives into what makes Jokic so hard to contain and how Jimmy Butler evolved into a new role and it’s working for him and he’s just flat out going off! But despite those two dynamic players, Mikal is leaning towards Boston to finish it out (if they can stop bullshitting and letting teams stick around) or it could end up the Lakers despite being down 2 games heading back home.
Breaking down the trade that sent him to Brooklyn, Mikal has adapted a positive mentality of making the most of every opportunity and although was disappointed at first to leave behind what they were building with his Suns’ teammates, he’s wholeheartedly welcomed the NY spotlight and looking to next season to build upon what he was able to get a taste of the last couple months with the Nets. Becoming a better leader and working at his game everyday, Mikal says he took parts of what he’s learned playing with all the talent he’s been surrounded with and from afar, watching Stef Curry’s leadership capabilities and how he works with his teammates and earns their respect is something he continues to strive for.
Growing up outside of Philadelphia, Mikal was a hometown favorite with a stand out run at Villanova before being drafted by Sixers and immediately traded to Phoenix. He credits his humble mentality and living each day with gratitude to his mother who he says “does not play around” and has always kept him on the straight and narrow path! Ryan talks about Ja Morant’s current situation and how Mikal has worked to be on a different path and how vital your surroundings are and you are only as strong as the company you keep!

From a Nets fan. We have already fallen in love with them both too. They are both such pure humans. Promise we take care of them as fans. Mikal is already my favourite player. Can't wait to see what jerseys we rock this season and to get a Mikal one. KD is an all time great, but he was super hard to root for, he's almost like a robot off the court, you don't get too much emotion out of him. It's weird, it's like you know you have an all time great that isn't a dick, that you should love, but for some reason, it always felt like KD didn't actually care about the fans. He just wants to ball, which is fine, but he's just a tough dude to root for.
Jim brown was my dad's favorite back . Seeing him through nfl films and the stories of his career . He wil be missed by all.

This was a great interview with Mikal. He and CJ have been a breath of fresh air on the Nets.
This was so much fun to watch! I don’t follow basketball at all, have no real clue who this guy is but the hosts were having so much fun with him. The respect the four of them have for each other is there-they’re all professionals and SEE each other.
This guest is a happy, centered pragmatist.
I’ll come back to this segment just for the sheer fun of watching 4 accomplished athletes talk about what it is to be a successful professional athlete.
You should consider tuning in to watch Mikal play! He is really good, the development he’s made is honestly amazing. Can tell he’s a real hard worker.

It is fairly obvious that Jay Wright not only knew how to recruit but also instilled the right values into the Brunson, Hart and Mikal. Despite being a Raptor fan , I do hope for success for Coach Vaughan, Mikal and the players on the Nets.

As a suns fan we really miss him. Many people who hated on us always told me he was not that guy and I told them he is that guy. He can put up 20 to 30 ppg easy especially if that's how we wanted him to play however he is a great player who can do it all.

I think its great to have guys like Mikal on, who are role models and someone the young kids can look up to. Miles needs to get his family life figured out first.
Let us hope that Miles has used the time wisely and has dealt with the issues that caused him to hurt a woman. If so I hope that Charlotte keeps him and gives him a chance to contribute.

Depends on competition level makes the difference. Most of the rates goes on ppl size length and ect. How they projects to the NFL before the even play a college game. I feel let them play and let that determine who's better for their team.
