I remember watching a video where a dialect coach, who actually works with actors to do authentic accents in movies, and he watched a clip of Jon Voight in this and he admits to having no clue where that accent is meant to be from. That's how good Jon Voight brings it!!
Great episode. Really excited about next week. Feel like I was the only one to ever see it. I still hear "Don't be the guy who wears the band shirt to their show."
PCU will be interesting, I found a used DVD off Thiftbooks last year and I love the movie. It's crazy how that movie was so ahead of its time in 1994 and really predicted how these different groups would become more unhinged and how colleges would be getting more extreme.
The amazon has like 4 different species of wild boar lol. Those things are everywhere in the America's. They are on every continent besides Antarctica.
I’m 3:45 into your video and already going to just say that it’s definetly a memorable movie. It has its parts with ice cube, John voight, j lo, and the panther.. oops I mean animatronic/cg snake. However the movie as a whole was not solid. There was maybe 8 scenes in total I can break the attempt at a movie down to. The wasp pen trachea, panther night, there’s snakes this big, snake throwing up person, mechanical snake on fire. Thats clearly not 8. But yeah this is a bad movie that’s bad. I’d however say blood orchid is a bad movie that rules. The one time a sequel is better than the original. They definitely had me feeling what it’s like to have been Angelina once her boobs grew in with how creepy German turned whatever type of Mexican Voight was attempting to be.
It's not outside the realm of possibility that someone who looks like Jon Voight could be from Latin America. There are white Argentines, and white Uruguayans. Louis CK is Mexican. Guillermo del Toro is of European Spanish heritage. Problem is nobody from Paraguay looks like that. Virtually everyone in that country is mestizo. But nowadays we have historical dramas set in feudal Europe with black actors in key roles, and not a peep of protest from the Accuracy Inquisition, so frankly my dear I don't give a damn.

Jon just decides that he's going to make up his own accent. That is incredible!

Thanks Eric! Next week is fun, it was my first time seeing PCU
“It’s Stoltzin’ time!” That was great.
I was 16 when this movie came out... I saw it 3 times in theater... the 90s were a wild time.
Yeah but that sounds like an awesome time. Making multiple trips for a movie you love!
Best part of the movie is the waterfall being put in reverse when they go past it. 😂
Serone is doing an amazing Al Pacino impression 😅

When people say what's a movie that's so bad it's good, this is the example I use.

Thanks for sharing all your thoughts - I mostly agree, and I can't wait to see Blood Orchid
Good or Bad. That's an opinion for Critics. It was hella scary and entertaining when I first watched it as a kid. That's all that matters.
Hey if you love it then enjoy it! That’s what’s great about movies like these
These corporate thumbnails totally gonna increase numbers😪
😂 what the hell is a corporate thumbnail

When you guys finally get to anaconda 3 get ready to laugh your ass off
From what I hear it's incredible
Great movie Jon voights puke wink is classic!!
So out of left field!
Whatever about Anaconda, but I am SO excited for PCU next week. I have always told people about that movie. I love it so much.
I just wish it was more available for other people to see!
This movie hasn't aged well for me. It would've been WAY better if it was rated R.
Right? Just go full Jaws!
