- HALF PAST DEAD BAD MOVIE REVIEW | Bad Movies Rule Episode 153 - Steven Seagal and his prison durag team up with Ja Rule as they both try their best to embarrass themselves in this early 2000s action movie that takes place on Alcatraz. The only people trying to break out are the people that are embarrassed to be in this movie. Because of the time it came out, it does carry a certain charm from that era, and there is lots of ridiculousness to love and roast. What did you think of Half Past Dead? Let us know in the comments!

I just love all the Steven seagull impressions going around.
I once heard Steven Seagal referred to as a “gelatinous non-fighting zero.” This person, whose name I won’t mention because he’s a super polarizing figure, did/does actual combat sports in the form of submission wrestling, and during an interview, he mentioned Steven Seagal to take a potshot at him, and his guest quipped “I don’t think Seagal can *swim.”*
I would like it if his stunt double had six pack abs trying to make us believe its him

man it so wild how fast his career went down the drain. I love his first few movies everything up to Under Siege is fantastic imho. then it nose dived into crap and never recovered.
Bad guy o'clock was the best line. And this one's kinda cheating, we know who gets the bucket of dirt award.

They might draw a line at reviewing outright exploitation films. BMR is a family-friendly show, and while it's true that many of the movies they review are not family friendly, there are some movies out there that aren't family friendly to even review. There's a reason, for example, that there aren't any Russ Meyer or Roger Corman movies on the BMR list.
