One of the most angelic voices I have ever heard. Her emotion, voice control and runs are just next level. It is insane. I don't think most people understand how good she is.
I have watched idol both US and Australian since it began and NO ONE has ever made me cry. This young woman makes me cry with every song. Some people are just blessed from within. What a gift just beautiful. Please keep her innocence that is what we all fell in love with. She sings from the soul and in this industry that is very, very, very rare.
This is the first season I didn't watch and after watching this, I'm disappointed to say the least.
Every song she sings comes from the core of her heart....

Her voice is pitchy and not very strong. She butchered Fleetwood Mac and the Christian song. I couldn’t watch any more of her after seeing those.

If I was surprised by her choice to sing MCR's Welcome to the Black Parade, I was stunned she took on Yebba's My Mind. She made really ambitious choices with a unique and emotionally connected take on every song. It's been a while since I've felt the person who won actually deserved it.

How prophetic that Abi changed into a golden outfit to present her final offering prior to the announcement of the winner. Such a deserving winner whose class and humility were streets above the other contestants, and although her future should be assured going forward, I sense this result won't change her a great deal, because she is a dedicated performer who learns very rapidly. Wow! Abi is so awesome and yet so genuine, humble and sincere. She so deserved to win. Congratulations Abi! I'm guessing I am not the only male here that her voice moved to tears? lol. It was bittersweet knowing that was the last American Idol finale we will see, Lionel, Katy and Luke together as well. They gelled so well together.

She won it after the first audition. As the season progressed, even the other singers became aware they were competing for second place. You feel her every time she sings. Katy was right, she was made for this.

Such a beautifully gifted performer/singer! She went from gorgeous ballads at the piano to rocking out, working the stage and wearing amazing outfits that put the cherry on top of her performances! She truly deserves to have this win! ❤

I've watched so many seasons of so many shows, and I've never before seen an artist grow *without* changing who they are and what they bring to the music. I didn't see what the judges saw during her audition. I could tell it was a good audition, but I had no clue about all of what was behind it, the depth the judges saw so clearly. To see her arc as she went through the competition, then to hear her sing her audition song again after winning, brought it full circle for me. Wow. So THAT is what a true artist sounds like. Wow.
I haven't touched my ukulele in over a year, and I haven't warmed up my voice for even longer. Just grabbed ukulele and tuned it. Let's see what inspiration feels like, once again.
