I enjoyed your workout. I had to modify some of the movements as I’m working on a supreme Toning Tower tower and do not have all the loops. I was able to get a good workout making adjustments. I look forward to doing it again. Your explanations are excellent.

Merry Christmas! That’s a great gift. I use the long yellow tower springs in the reformer tower workouts #1,2,5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 (coming soon) And the tower classes 1,2,3 (I use purple but yellow works too) and 4 (coming soon)

What is the purpose of the tower? It seems like everything can be done on the reformer alone?
The tower is a totally different apparatus with completely different exercises.

What brand of reformer do you use? I'm in the market to purchase one. Looking for a link in your description.
I have a balanced body studio reformer with the tower unit. My footbar is the Infinity footbar and I have the revo gear bar. Balanced body has several options of reformers to choose from. You can check them out at pilates.com.

April since my stroke my legs are not strong. What is the safest and easiest way to get up from laying down or sitting exercise since I have to built up my abs and leg muscles? Should I put a chair on the left side of the mat?
The chair or a pilates box is a great idea. Anything that is stable you can hold onto would work.

Hi. I looked that machine up but can’t really see from the picture. As long as the handles can disconnect from the straps by some type of hook for carabiner it should work. You can also just buy a dowel rod at Lowe’s and loop it through the handles. The maple pole I use is from balanced body and can be purchased on their website at www.pilates.com/store/equipment-accessories/pilates-tower-accessories/roll-down-bar-inside-standard
April, my machine is coming tomorrow, Ellen Croft's. What exercises can you suggest to get my tendonitis back to normal? My right arm has limited movement compared to my left and when i reach for a cup in the cabinet it pulls the muscles. I have arthritis too.
Hi Faith. Congrats on your new machine. How exciting. I would contact your doctor or physical therapist for specific questions about your tendinitis. I can’t really provide medical advice.

Hi! Is that red spring for the push through bar a short spring or a long spring?
It is short.

Question: my tower didn’t come with red springs but it does have purple (long), blue (short) and yellow (long and short). Does purple substitute for red? Should I buy red? Thanks 🙏
The red would be the same length as the blue or the short yellow. So I would suggest using one blue and one yellow instead of the red. It will be 1/4 spring less tension than red but should feel ok. I did go ahead and buy a red spring as it wasn’t standard on my tower either. Hope that helps.
