Welcome back, I have missed you Kat and glad you had a lovely time in Iceland. Glad you got to see the lights, sounds amazing. The Christmas tree looks fab and Arctic animals are looking so cute. Sorceress is looking beautiful. All your WIP projects are looking fab. Love the idea of project bags. X
Thanks Karen 😊 It's nice to be missed! I'm glad I squeezed in at least one small finish...but am now on a mission for more finishes so watch this space! I can't wait to get stuck into the next bit of Arctic Animals 😄
We definitely missed you!! Aww Kat, your trip sounds incredible. Those pictures were amazing (as you said ha). So glad you had a lovely time and got to see the Northern lights like you were hoping! Ugh... I'm SWOONING over the sorceress. She is looking so good! Your stitches are incredible. Great job! OMG we get to see sorceress AND Winter's gift?! You are really spoiling us. I have got to stitch a Joan Elliott. They look so so good. Way to go!
Aw, thanks for missing me! Yes, you DO need to stitch a Joan Elliott...they are just fabulous! Another thing to add to your very long list of things to stitch one day 😂 I am not sure which I'll finish first out of The Sorceress or The Winter's Gift but they both seem like they are getting into the final stretch and it's very exciting!
I’m glad you had a good time in Iceland, those northern lights looked stunning! Bet you’ll get to stitch something like that for the Arctic Animals, and the hare is just as cute as the rest of it. Also can’t wait to see that Winter’s Gift fox.
Thank you Katherine 😊 I am really hoping we go get some aurora to stitch on the Arctic Animals SAL 🤞 I'm soooo looking forward to stitching the Arctic fox soon too 😄
Your holiday sounded amazing! I think it’s going to be something you’ll talk about for awhile! It’s great when something you’ve been looking forward to goes over & beyond your expectations! My friend went to Alaska & was really disappointed So I’m glad your holiday was fantastic!
Thanks Patricia 😊 You are so right...I will be talking about and thinking about Iceland for quite some time! I'm so sorry Alaska didn't live up to your friends expectations 😢
Of course we missed you!! 😊 Such beautiful pictures from Iceland! So happy you both had such a wonderful time!! 🥰 I love your WIPs so much! I’m always excited to see your progress. Just stunning! 🥰😊
Thanks for missing me Jeni 😊 I can't say enough good things about Iceland...apart from the expense it was all fabulous! I've been on a mission to get some finishes since I got back so that will be fun for the next video!
It is great to hear you were crowned with the northern light's corona while in Island, it does not happen too often, so I am very happy for you. And thank you for being so considerate to treat us with stitch along last week, we would have felt us very lonely without the dragon. Glad to have you back
Thanks so much Tanja 😊 I really couldn't believe how lucky we were with the Northern Lights corona event 😮😆 I'm so glad you enjoyed the stitch with me while I was away 😊
Not too long for me! Enjoyed the Iceland stories and pictures sooooo much! Looking forward to every future thing you talked about. The project bag is awesome. Headed there right now! Hugs, Elaine in South Carolina, US
So fun to hear about your trip! Great job on the Arctic Animals project. For some unknown reason I didn't do step 4 and 5 and went directly to step 6 and loved working on it! Such a fun stitch!
Thanks Kathy 😊 There's no reason to do the parts in order in a SAL...sometimes you just gotta stitch the bit that is calling to you! It's all fun and it will all get stitched eventually 😄
Glad you had such a wonderful holiday and saw the spectacular northern lights. Magical. My Robin SAL is in a similar place to yours, I also don’t stitch 1/2 objects. Waiting for Part 2 now. Happy Stitching this week ❤❤
Thanks for sharing, all your WIPs look great. My favourite of them is Winter's Gift as the colours are stunning. I really want to start a Joan Elliot, but think I need to neaten my stitching first! I'm always envious of how neat your stitching is 🙂Glad you enjoyed Iceland and saw the Northern Lights - it is such an amazing country.
Thanks for your lovely comment 😊 I say just start a Joan Elliot if you want to! It honestly doesn't matter how neat your stitches are as long as you are having fun, so don't let that put you off. I find some projects are 'easier' to get neat stitches and Joan Elliot's fall in that category...maybe the way it's charted and the colours she uses...I don't know but I find it easier to have it look neat than some other patterns.
So your word of the Flosstube may have been Amazing but mine was WOW, every one of the projects that you shared with us I said WOW to.......such beautiful work Kat! Your Joan Elliots are stunning and I now want to do both after I was convinced that when I branched out into fancy ladies I was definitely going to do The Sourceress, you are such an enabler ☺ I started on the Robin Patchwork SAL (yes you are not the only one who gets the name wrong 😂) after seeing the Christmas SAL that you finished from last year on your previous flosstube and I've got my supplies ready to join your little SAL ☺ I'm glad you both had such a great holiday, it did look amazing!! See you next time ☺
Aw, thanks for your lovely comment 😊 I am very happy being an enabler for Joan Elliott patterns...they are so lovely 😜 It's great to hear you have started the Robin Patchwork SAL and I look forward to getting the Pigeon Coop SAL under way soon...more info in my next flosstube! 🩷
Glad you're back. I missed you. Happy you saw the Lights and they were even better than you hoped. Thank you so much for the pictures. Iceland didn't look as I expected. All your projects are beautiful but I love the arctic animals and the owls.
Thank you 😄Iceland was really stunning and such varied scenery too 😍 I can't wait to get started on the next bit of Arctic Animals and I'm sure it will be bringing me memories of Iceland!
Ah how lovely to see you back Kat. And even more lovely to see the Winter's Gift ❤❤. She's absolutely huge when you hold her up. I think I might have to look into stitching her when I do my Snow Queen. So maybe in about 10 years time 😂😂 Your holiday looked amazing. I'd love to hear more in a stitch with me xx
Thank you 😊 It's taken a while for it to feel normal being back from holiday! I still feel like I'm playing catch up...not least with the washing and ironing because I am very bad at doing that 😬
@catkinandlillie Ha! Well I'm a bit behind in watching your latest videos, sorry, and will probably take a while to catch up. And may be commenting less often for a while as life gets busy. But rest assured I'm still very much enjoying your content, even if I go a bit quiet.
Thanks Lynsey 😊 Yes, I can talk more about WIPGO in a video, although I also have a video linked in the description (it's right down at the bottom) that probably explains it better than me!

Every time I see you bring out the winters gift I am just in awe. I love it soo much I think it is my unicorn stitch that I need to purchase next.
Yes!!!! Go for it! It's just so beautiful to look at and to stitch. I can't wait to stitch the rest of the Arctic fox 😄
I love foxes they are my favorite animal!! I did purchase it just waiting for it to arrive now!
