I'm blown away by the increasing complexity of the perimeter decoration. It's so much area to detail to such a fine degree. The torn up roads in the water really tie it together.
You with The Perimeter, Scar with Scarland, and Ren with Blue River Raceway have really been inspiring me to continue working on my creative city. I also have some small details that might add to the Perimeter if you don't mind. I was thinking maybe the Ancient Goat Civilization in its last days were doing small scale Redstone experiments in the Industrial area of the Perimeter. And second, maybe in between the roadways there could be some of those tomato trees growing in the water, might give some use to mangrove roots. Anyways sorry for the long comment, I can't wait to see what's next in the story.
Do you have a map of the perimeter yet? Itd be really cool to see what it looks like from a top down view with the roads, flooding, and the tcg goat arena of anvil doom😂
If I've learned one thing from Keralis' Cities Skylines series it's that he's going to love to see the Perimeter getting roads, Doc might even wake up one day to see he's done all the Perimeter roads for him
Even though doc built all this, I like to imagine lore wise that doc unearthed the ruins while drilling down to create a perimeter for his machines, not knowing he was drawn to it because of his divine ancestral instincts.
Maybe for the main road you could use two goat statues on either side to create an arch. They’d stand on their hind legs and their front hooves would meet in the middle above the road.
Just started the new episode. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've done this week! The perimeter looks amazing, it's all coming together so beautifully!
I like your little mushroom-based safety platform, like a little reminder that mushroom compost is good for tomato's by keeping you from the pestilence of mobs.
i was slowly falling asleep while i watched this. it’s nice to have a chill video amidst the chaos. a bit of peace within the madness of life right now. your building process is very calming apparently, lol. keep up the good work, but make sure to take time for yourself as well 💕
Gotta say, I like the style of the walkways that connect the houses to the ring road more than the style of the ring road itself. The rubble is just so spread out that, even though you know there must have been a walkway there, and you know the endpoints it connected, you have no idea where _exactly_ the walkway went. It brings back memories of visiting ruined castles as a kid. But then again, the rest of the perimeter is way better preserved than those castle ruins of my childhood, more akin to Pompeii and Herculaneum, which have clearly visible (actually still usable) streets, so I guess how the ring road looks right now is more appropriate.
The Perimeter is looking amazing! I also love both your dedication to your family, and how you’re so supportive of the artist community, and the other Hermits. That’s why you’re the G.O.A.T., Doc!
The trials of parents with young children, keeping them occupied while sick and getting sick too.🥴🤢 It only takes one child to go in kindergarten while still recovering and spreading it all around..Food luck with the rest of the term before Christmas 🎄.. Enjoying the Decked Out runs its been so much Fun to watch..❤
The devastation on the road is a little too even. When things are actually destroyed it's usually in chunks, with some areas being totally ruined and mostly gone and other pieces almost entirely intact.
as a dad myself i know work/family balance is hard. its okay to have these lighter videos if means your family is doing well and your arent buring out. much love to you and yours from me and mine ❤
I just remembered, last video you asked about how to integrate the Perimeter with Scarland. I suggested making the old path of destruction from the volcano to the Perimeter with old cold lava, I saw someone suggesting a viewing platform for visitors of Scarland to see the Perimeter. I think it would be interesting to do both, making the old lava-flow with a viewing platform that goes over it.
If you want the path's debry to have all types of stairs, slabs, and leaves, then I would suggest going through the whole path randomly (but sparingly) placing one type of block at a time and then going through it again for each type. This is easier and will (probably) save you time because you wont have to go through your hotbar every time you want to place a diffrent type of block. The only down side to this method is that you wont see what the path will look like untill its finished, but you can allways remove blocks later if there are too many or make any other adjustments. Obviously do what works for you, but I thought this could be helpfull 😁. Honestly having a sort of "break episode" is a good thing because if you get used to the "hyper grindy docm77" your amazing builds will seem less impresive, so this break it will make the next episode more exiting!
Doc, you son of a b🪷. I haven't watched this episode yet because I'm too busy traveling the world and making my own Minecraft series, but I can't help to follow the G.O.A.T... you are the only Minecraft channel i watch and it's due to your delivery. The artwork thumbnails, the occasional hack tutorial, and the limitlessness of your gameplay... Coming from the god of hardcore Minecraft, you are definitely the only other gamer on my level, and in your own way. You and the hive mind are an insane team. I am solo boi but still, even with people like Grian, BDoubleO and Good times with Scar running around, you are still on another level. Thank you for your style. Thank you for your inspiration.
I think it would make sense if some areas near the housing units don't have full water blocks. it makes it look like the water has found a path into, or under the structure
My daughter always used to get sick with things like Ear Infections or Strep Throat where you need to get antibiotics to get better on Saturdays or Sundays when the doctors are closed. 😅
I've been working on crocheting a goat mother plushie recently (not done it yet or I'd share a photo). Had an interesting dream I met you & your family at a minecraft convention and gifted it to little Doccie :) All these awesome artworks you share inspire me to recreate some in crochet... I'm also working on a small blanket with the patterning similar to what you have around your murals. I just hope I finish before the season ends lol!
As a mom and one of your older fans (we're around the same age), I love the fact that you talk about how you share household responsibilities. It wasn't something that our generation saw a lot and it's more seen now but still not common.
Great video! I know the season is ending soon, I can see it many people are finishing stuff up and decked out is ending, but I hope you get all you want to get done and wish you luck!
What about putting a slimefarm (tomatofarm) into the (factory)city. And then move the slimes around via minecarts, or waterstreams? e.g. sort the slimes and have long fall tubes for each size to kill them. With large windows to see them falling down?
Hey Doc i think another thing that would look good in the water around the houses is some Mosey cobble stairs set up to look like pointed rocks in the water sitting also a few trees in the water mix of the Mangrove trees but with like the other leaves like the ones on the houses just a idea
Loved today's chill episode. Love the grindy, epic time-lapse ones, and the ones where your talking and building in real time :) always up for a good time. Had some tea and a kitty in my arms while watching to start off my Saturday:)
45:34 I like that you make videos, but I don't want you to sacrifice yourself for it. Also, no worries about not doing too much in this video, I don't think anyone will complain about you putting your family first.
taking care of little ones when theyre sick is a full time job 😅 my 4.5 year old has had a nasty respiratory infection for the past 6-7 weeks and it has been ROUGH! hope doccy has recovered and all is well
Doc - why not build a tall object in the middle of the perimeter to relocate the dragon to. Maybe build a goat mother statue to enclosure your drowned farm and TCG arena - hopefully that way it drifts less and if it does it might drift back to the centre of your perimeter as you work on different locations. I know that the season is likely coming to an end as it is generally around 2 years per season on average but just a thought if you think you have time. Either way you are the G.O.A.T and that has nothing to do with Grind, Optimise, Automate or Thrive. DocM77 fan for life.... 👍
The perimeter is SO COOL and I've been loving your lore dives!!! The roads are so lovely too ^_^ with the dragon...hmmmmm...I mean, I could see it being used in some type of season-ending way as you let it drift, but nah that doesn't sound like something that could happen. You know exactly what that dragon can do, along with the second dragon as well! I'd bring it back maybe...but then, I'm not very clued up on dragon mechanics in the overworld so who am I to say? ;) seriously though, excited to see what happens
I think what the road is missing is big chunks that are not there anymore, because right now I feel like it looks a little too clean, but if you removed big patches that could really help make it look destroyed
Just a thought: As I understand the lore, the big flood came from one place (the large water tank in the corner), right? If a large volume of water comes down from high altitude in one flow, it will destroy and wash away EVERYTHING. Houses? Roads? Nothing but bedrock will remain. Maybe that's a touch for that corner you want to add, Doc? ;D
Would be really interested to see someone throw something like a coin or spare keys onto a pressure plate to try and throw off the wardens. My thought is it would attract them to the plate when the items despawned also
Hi Doc o/ Instead of having a bunch of roads coming off the main road to the houses doors, why not have little courtyards PS Great Chicken Cataclysm Mural XP
@docm77 what about asking the dirt covering people if they would like to participate in making a road system? Where each has a section, where he can let lose. Didn't they say they had a lot of fun covering the whole thing?
Roads...yes
I guess doc is now a yt shorts creator 😆😆
Relentless roads laid out in diabolical symmetry!
maybe the hive mind can revive the fancy transportation that is EATS road?
I liked it ❤️
Can we see some "Goat nurse" fan art, please? 😂
I love how doc saw the Fan Art and liked it so much that he decidied to Build it in 2D and 3D
I'm blown away by the increasing complexity of the perimeter decoration. It's so much area to detail to such a fine degree. The torn up roads in the water really tie it together.
It's a crazy amount of detail to put on a regular sized build, and this madman is doing it on scicraft scale!
damn Scar's volcano somehow makes the perimeter view even cooler
Doc got that next level decked out immersion with frost bite and everything lol
The way this episode started was so natural and smooth. I can't explain it. Just a nice conversation as Doc just calmly gets ready for a dungeon run.
Just the thought of Decked out closing made Doccy feel ill
I got a signed rare card from you in one of my booster boxes, Doc! It is amazing! Thank you!
That is awesome!
@@docm77 that card traveled from Germany back to the United States so that is another item of prestige for it lol
72 episodes this season and the intro music still gives me chills!
You with The Perimeter, Scar with Scarland, and Ren with Blue River Raceway have really been inspiring me to continue working on my creative city.

I remember seeing that art on the r/Hermitcraft subreddit and thinking "oh yeah, Doc's gonna love this"
Awhhh I hope doccy is ok now ❤ ur such an amazing dad it’s incredible!!! 🥺
Just started the new episode. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've done this week! The perimeter looks amazing, it's all coming together so beautifully!
I completely forgot about Doc uploading today and now my day has been greatly improved
Ohhh another doc video.
This doc is powerful enough to keep the apple away.
Only tomatoes for the GOAT.
I like your little mushroom-based safety platform, like a little reminder that mushroom compost is good for tomato's by keeping you from the pestilence of mobs.

The perimeter is really turning into a monumental art piece, builder Doc is just going absolutely ham!
Nice idea to add these roads! I think the doors should be raised tho
Gotta say, I like the style of the walkways that connect the houses to the ring road more than the style of the ring road itself. Doc! It's a very nice design for a spawn-proof road using stairs, path blocks and carpets. It's functional without compromising on the looks.
The Perimeter is looking amazing! I also love both your dedication to your family, and how you’re so supportive of the artist community, and the other Hermits. That’s why you’re the G.O.A.T., Doc!
Suddenly the Bob Ross of Minecraft. xD Happy little Perimeter. Happy little paths.
I love your focus on family and your child. Fatherhood should be enjoyed and loved with vigor and it is great to see you as an example of that!
Doc, you say that you didn't do much today, but you did more than most players do in a month! That path was intricate!
The Office quote overwriting a Decked Out card name file is content I didn't know I needed
Everything looks amazing. Have you thought about some light posts along the pathways and maybe some glow lichen in the cracks?
The trials of parents with young children, keeping them occupied while sick and getting sick too.🥴🤢 It only takes one child to go in kindergarten while still recovering and spreading it all around..Food luck with the rest of the term before Christmas 🎄.. Yes!!!
Thank you for uploading!
This week, actually was crazy for me as well.
Love your videos no matter how short or long they are! Btw the perimeter is looking absolutely fantastic
Nothing like DocM on your birthday
as a dad myself i know work/family balance is hard. its okay to have these lighter videos if means your family is doing well and your arent buring out. much love to you and yours from me and mine ❤

1 minutes in and I’m super relating. Pink eye has swept through our family. Last (and only) man standing.
The Steampunky elements really go well in this build ;)
Wow, the perimeter is looking amazing! I hope your family is feeling better. And make sure you're staying hydrated
oh man with a title like that and video length less that 1 hour, wishing you and your fam good health and recovery

Thank you Doccy, thanks to you we can watch Decked Out again
Great video! I know the season is ending soon, I can see it many people are finishing stuff up and decked out is ending, but I hope you get all you want to get done and wish you luck!
Roads? Where we're going, we need roads!
~ Doc
28:53 "a strait line" "in a circular shape"
The fan art is amazing!

the cracks in the wall add so much!

I like that you make videos, but I don't want you to sacrifice yourself for it.
Also, no worries about not doing too much in this video, I don't think anyone will complain about you putting your family first.
I like the post that was on top of the stairs before you changed it to more solid block. It made it look like part of the post and then knocked away.
taking care of little ones when theyre sick is a full time job 😅 my 4.5 year old has had a nasty respiratory infection for the past 6-7 weeks and it has been ROUGH! hope doccy has recovered and all is well
If I remember correctly, sprint jumping puts out fire slightly quicker than just waiting it out. It might have saved you there on that run.
Have you shown doccy scarland??
Finally ,this is the first time a youtuber has liked my comment
Doc - why not build a tall object in the middle of the perimeter to relocate the dragon to. Maybe build a goat mother statue to enclosure your drowned farm and TCG arena - hopefully that way it drifts less and if it does it might drift back to the centre of your perimeter as you work on different locations.

Looks awesome doc. I think you should leave the doors. It looks like the beginning of Atlantis. The city started sinking.

Would be really interested to see someone throw something like a coin or spare keys onto a pressure plate to try and throw off the wardens. My thought is it would attract them to the plate when the items despawned also
29:55 Doc building with dirt instead of diamond ore was triggering
20:37 where decked out ends. love doc and the hermits but yeah.... lol
Ya dont worry about shorter episodes! We love all the content you make :D
Maybe building some palm trees along the roads could look nice (maybe the ancient people even cross bread them with tomatoes so they are tomato palms)
Even though its less than what you normally do, even the amount you got built today would be a grind for most people! It's all a matter of perspective
Hi Doc o/
Instead of having a bunch of roads coming off the main road to the houses doors, why not have little courtyards
PS Great Chicken Cataclysm Mural XP
First vid I've watched from you, And I absolutely love it! Keep up all the amazing work!!
Thank you! Will do!
Love seeing the building process w the roads.
Very good vibes in this episode. Inspiring, relax and easy going! ⭐
As far as TCG cards, I was beyond thrilled I got YOUR signed card in a pack!!!!!! I am so happy.
The next plans look AMAZING!
I swear the noise you heard when swimming away from Willie was "that's what she said"... 😅
So the horns are a thing...
Hope your family is feeling better! Love the idea for the new mural it's gorgeous and I really love the goat head design!!! ❤😊
cant wait for the nursem77 fanart
don’t give me ideas…
As a plumber the lack of shut off valves in this irrigation system is unnerving
new hermitcraft video :D Keep up the amazing work doc! :)
Hmm, something tells me there isn't a speed limit on that ring road ;)
Maybe try making some Redstone cranes that move when the G.O.A.T. sign target is hit.
@docm77 what about asking the dirt covering people if they would like to participate in making a road system? Where each has a section, where he can let lose. Didn't they say they had a lot of fun covering the whole thing?
Road looks sooooo good. I love it
This is looking awesome! So cool!
i hope when you painted your face, you were painted like your minecraft skin doc! glad to see your content as always
where?
I did not know you could place a bed like that, huh 21:42
Great episode. Sickness is no fun and hope everyone is on the mend.
Was someone in the dungeon besides Doc? You can see the door from lvl 3 to lvl 2 closing on 16:45
This looks kinda like the trail ruins
Looking forward to watching this episode!!
get well soon docy
