I've just become an instant 'mother' of my siblings and this episode was an answer to me from God. I'm going through this right now and had prayed for help from God this morning as I was feeling like i was going insane. Thankyou so much for your ministry work.
@@lashawnablanton4649 : keep your faith. Be sure that you check yourself against the scriptures and be sure that you are in line with the word and God will do his will. We must also ask ourselves if God was in the decision that we are now facing? Are you equally yoked? If it's about a child, you must surrender that child to God and allow God to do his will, understanding that it may not be the outcome that you want, and if it is about your spouse, you must also do the same by surrounding him knowing that the scriptures say that one spouse can justify the other, however, that means that you must be forgiving and respectful of him while you are being the spouse that God intended for you to be. It's not easy but the focus must be on God and not your emotions or your husband's behaviour

Amen! Wow what perfect timing it was seeing this. I too am a young mother of a 2 year old and infant. And I have been so frustrated with my lack of patience and selfishness. I just keep praying for God to help me be faithful with my babies, husband, and everything else He has given me❤️ I want so badly to be transformed and to be more holy, more meek and gentle.

I lost my mom, my brother, and had a miscarriage all within 2 years. To make matters worse, I’m in a relationship with a psychopathic narcissist. I gotten to the point where I wanted die as I had no one there for me. I’m isolated and been for quite sometime. Only finding peace when listening to the word and spending time talking with God. Nothing else makes me happy anymore. Nothing brings me joy in this world besides my arts and crafts, nature, and physical activity outside of God. I hope the rapture is soon. Being in a LDR is hard…meaning relationship with the Lord. It’s hard being away from Abba .

Just lost a job I’ve been at for 3 years due to my own recent lack of glorifying God in all I do, and I immediately felt grateful that God gave me the discipline I deserved. It pushed me back into church fellowship, prayer, scripture reading, and focused on God’s purpose for me rather than a paycheck (and not to be a sluggard.)

That was one of the best messages regarding stress. It's usually always about fear and anxiety and problems dealing with stress apart from fear and anxiety isn't really a common topic that preachers seem to talk about. I needed this. Thank you Jesus, and thank you Pastor John
I’ve been a Christian for 5+ years. The first 1.5 years were great, full of joy, zeal devolution and victory over sin. The last 3.5 years have felt like a slippery slope descending to destruction and I get closer to darkness and further from the Lord every year. I pray, as David did in Psalm 130:1-6 “my soul waits for you as those who watch for the morning”. How much longer will I go astray in my heart O God? Return me to yourself once again. Save me, O my God.
This is so very true. Only when my glass was shaken did I begin to notice the depth and breadth of my sinfulness - and then begin to experience the greater depth of God's grace - for that reason I have come to truly love the discipline of God - that he loves me enough to sanctify me. He kills pride by creating situations where we must learn to humble ourselves before him, gradually and increasingly, This is the fight, the battle of sanctification we will be in all our lives. But this is also the way we see more of the glory of God's hominess and love for us. May he be praised for his grace. Thank you Pastor John, again, for real practical teaching.

Thank you so much for this teaching! I am definitely in that boat and have been for awhile. Being a mother of four very young children, I have been tested in every way and have grown very weary of dealing with not only my own sin but being constantly immersed in the unwitted or even willful sin of the young babes and always having to redirect, teach and discipline them. It takes every ounce of energy even when I am frequently running on empty. I don’t have very much help at all. It has been a difficult journey. I am thankful I have seen his abounding grace at work in my life, but it is still extremely difficult much of the time. I am burnt out and exhausted, but I have to keep going for the sake of raising the children. It is only by his grace I have made it this far. He will hold me fast! And I am ever so thankful for that. I need him every second of every hour of every day! 🙏🏻
This is exactly my situation right now. Wife and Mum of a 2 year old and a newborn, and becoming so much more aware of my sinfulness and its scary to see the real ugliness of my heart. Thank u pastor John for answering this question

Stress certainly makes you more holy. It forces one to decide what priorities are eternal, and which of the mundane can be discarded. I am especially edified when wolves in sheep’s clothing add stress to my life by shaming me for not being vaccinated. Wolves such as John Piper, who has added unneeded stress to the flock is one who will soon be discarded by many.
Did he really just suggest that she might not be a Christian in the first place if she "is like a third soil and falls away from Christ?" Seriously? Because that is not what the Bible teaches!!!! I would be very cautious about believing that because what is he defining as "falling away" and what does he mean by you aren't a christian to begin with especially if the person has stated they are a believer??? If she is noticing sin in her life due to the pressures of motherhood and life (trust me I can relate) and she is seeking wisdom and answers because she loves Jesus and believes in him as her Savior....then SHE IS SAVED. She is being spiritually attacked and yes it does show our weakness and our filthiness and it shows us that we need God to bring us cleansing and renewing of our minds. However, I would be very wary of this pastors message especially when he suggested that she might not be a Christian....sounds like he could be easily misleading people into having shame and guilt into believing something that likely isn't true. I also noticed this pastor said to "repent more." Yikes. If I had of heard this message a few years ago it would have made me feel ashamed, guilty, and possibly question my faith by making me think I possibly wasn't really a Christian. Shame on him.
