Good episode, John. The past Saturday, I went to Live Action’s Young Leaders Summit for the first time, and it was great. Live Action is a Pro-Life organization, the founder is Lila Rose, and she’s a kind woman of Christ. I met her, and she appreciates I support her and the organization. Also, I asked her if she heard of you, she said your name sounded familiar, I told her you are the singer of Skillet, the Christian Rock band, you talk about abortion, I recommend you to be on her podcast, and she appreciates I did that. God willing, it happens. I hope you are having a great week. Thank you for the episode. God loves you. I love you too. 😇

As a former foster parent and an adoptive mom, this interview touched me so deeply. All of my children are 17 & older.
Thank you for writing this book a d sharing the story behind it! ❤ I wish I'd have had it when my "gang" was small, but I'm so glad others will have it now.
I know that the Lord will use this book and both of your families to help many.
Praise and glory to Him for all He has done and all He will do!!!!!

“You’re lucky, I don’t have a baby picture.” That just broke my heart. What a beautifully, heartbreaking moment spoken by a child. ❤️

Thank you for sharing both of your stories. I’ve been recently asked and have been lead by the Lord to lead a Bible study for single mother’s. I’m currently praying about it and asking God if He is calling me to this. I believe it’s time for it to be tested. 🩷
You ladies spoke to my heart to listen and obey.

Absolutely, the church needs to have more families willing to adopt/foster. In PA, there are 2 churches for every one waiting kid. Glad to hear John's church has a bunch where he lives. But our call to care for the orphans and widows is majorly slacking, especially the older youth. Some kids don't even enter foster care until they are teenagers because the abuse flies under the radar that long. If a Christian cannot be an adoptive/foster parent, then the pre-foster care work takes place with the young women like she said. The post-foster care work is prison ministry, homeless ministry, and street workers selling themselves and/or drugs. Most of them were in the system at some point. Every Christian should be involved in one of those things, we are not doing enough.

Wow! This show brought me to tears! What a story! It would make any Christ follower to re-examine one's self...to make ourselves available to used by God! I lead women, being a pastor's wife. BUT these are women of the church, women who know Jesus. My own conviction is to reach the unsaved!

As an adoptive parent who wants to do all I can to build up my precious children-I was so so excited and encouraged to hear about this book! We’ve been on a very difficult journey with our teen who is trying to sort all these things out! You’ve put a wonderful and effective resource into our hands! Thank you thank you!

Crazy how God works, I have an adopted son and when we lost my husband and son in 2022, the trauma affected us all. He’s been being very combative lately and all I can see by coming to this video is that it came right when I needed it. God is always there.

Beautiful stories. I wad called to sponsor a young boy in El Salvador through Compassion International he was 2 when I started sponsoring him he turns 4 in August. I love it when I get letters and pictures from him and his family it warms my heart when I send extra money for his birthday and Christmas. If you can't afford to adopt Compassion is a great alternative!

Another great episode and beautiful story . Off topic but i would really like to know your view and gut reaction to the total eclipse coming on April 8th . Do you feel there is any biblical relevance ? There are alot of videos on the internet suggesting that there is . From what i've learned about it so far my gut says yes .
