I have family in Washington county. We disagree on politics, my family and I. But we agree this is sickening. Prayers for all of us, as creatures of God.
My son was just feet away from the bullets hitting objects and saw the people shot so it’s been very hard dealing with the trauma of this event on multiple levels. It’s so sad and angering what has happened. Our country really needs prayer. Thank you for covering this.

John, I normally don't comment on your broadcast. I just had to say that a lot of people have no regard for human life. We have people out there who think this was all staged. We have people out there that said the guy should have spent more time out on the range. What's bizarre to me is that people saw this guy get up on the building and immediately these people are warning law enforcement and they said that they did not pay attention to their comments. I will say this doesn't add up right. But you have a right to be concerned and voice your opinion. We really need to reunite this country John. Keep up the good work. 🙏

These are dark times indeed. I live in the the Tampa Bay area and they announced the Skyway bridge isn't going to flash the rainbow lights for Pride month. All I said was I'm glad they aren't doing it and then immediately I had two people who have NEVER reached out to me in a long time suddenly telling me how disappointed they were in me for saying that (one of them implied I was mentally ill) If people are willing to go after someone else over lights on a bridge really puts into perspective how dark things really are. Speak truth because right now the only light people need isn't lights on a bridge, but the light of Jesus Christ. Deep down, they really want the light
This is an on time word. God has moved you in a position to call out what is happening. You may have spent most of your life "just in a band", but God is raising people up in this time to stand against the atrocities that are happening inside the Church and the world. Claims that Trump "fell" and had to be carried off the stage by the SS. Disgraceful. We talked about this attempt in my Children's Church yesterday, and the man who died shielding his family. As a Mexican christian looking from the outside, you are totally on point in everything. Some mexicans like me, want Trump back to precisely push back on so much wokeness. I saw a video a while back from a concert in the UK where a speaker was asking US citizens to vote for Trump as the world needs his leadership, and I agree. He's not perfect, but I believe it's what we need now given these crazy times. I'm praying for him and for the US. Amen. When you have people who make statements like that they usually have a slanted perspective on how Christians should act. This is why it's so disappointing that our leaders in the church seem so afraid to have classes on the side for church members on these topics. With the LGBTQ movement there is usually trauma involved. As a church we need to love our communities and take action. Take action by funding families who are adopted. Take action by speaking up with friends. Taking action when you see domestic abuse. Be involved and informed, wise as a serpent, gentle as a dove.

My husband and I saw Skillet in Missoula, MT in June. We have wanted to see y’all for years. We were baptized on Easter. Your concert was such a spiritual experience for us, and it meant so much more than just seeing our favorite band. Y’all are warriors for the Kingdom, and your music has pulled us through the spiritual battle we have experienced. I too struggle with the idea of separating politics from spirituality. There is a battle between good and evil in the earthly realm. Every day I pray that the truth will be known and shown, that the truth will set us free. I pray for God’s will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. It’s not about politics, it’s about the truth. The truth is this is spiritual and psychological warfare and it is more important now than ever to be rooted in our faith, so that we may have discernment. I am not American, but stuff Cooper is mentioning I feel the same about, in fact, all the narratives such as those he mentions, to me seems like an intentional inversion, and, with some many in such a short period of time feel like some 'darker objective'. We are a small country, and being means < 6% of the population. Within this demographic though 88% of people are Christian, I create software much like Logos but my brother is an Ordained Reverend. The sheer amount of imprecations hurled my way from mostly other countries (Liberals mostly in terms of the US which is strange since the definition of it is the total opposite, so another inversion). I don't vote, I don't deal with politics, so in terms of geopolitics, even less so). Lastly, see I mention this since when I expand my work globally the USA was the country I approached first, I did not know "to be a Christian one must also be American" was going to be the case, never used to be like this but any rate... John is an inspiration, Skillet helped when I went through some dark time, listen to Skillet so many times during that time the lyrics are pretty much imprinted. Thanks
While he wasn't actually compelled or forced to wear it, someone I know was given a pride shirt from work that they wanted him to wear. He didn't wear it, and he wasn't threatened with his job over it, but I'm kind of surprised. For me personally, the friend I do caregiving for had to sign a waiver to accept the risks for me to be able to avoid getting the jab as a requirement for me to get paid to do caregiving for her. Americans who honestly believe it's okay for the government to take away our freedoms scare the daylights out of me. I went through the register at Walmart a short time back, and my cashier was actually wearing a pin that said "Ban everything." While it was his right to wear that, I have no doubt he believes it, and that scares me. Like you said, we're truly in a frightening moment in American history. Now Cooper let me tell you how blessed I am right now and I know this isn't everybody's experience but God has me in a wonderful place at work now there's not a lot of believers matter of fact there's only 23 people in my company but I'm allowed to come in to listen to my sermons I've never been told not to say anything about Jesus and because of a little faith from me to show that Jesus is my Lord and I am going to live the way he directs me to live I've started to see a change in the people around me and I'm singing him all day I'm able to listen to sermons I do Bible studies and it's never once has anybody ever said anything so I'm extremely blessed but I do know there's a flip side and I do pray for those out there who has to adhere, May I offer to all of those people my prayer and my love and my support remember you might be the only light shining in the dark place and just make sure you're in contact with the Lord because don't ever ever give up what God says over what man says God will provide God bless everyone thank you Cooper this is it is a scary time but you know I trust the Lord and I know he'll see us through whether it's the other side or here I know how it ends and my hope is in Jesus Christ

Like I told my sister, we're in an era where disagreements make you enemies and discussions turn into the worse kind of debates. It's really a sad time we're living in. I firmly believe that everyone has a right to live how they wish and have their opinions and feelings on any form of matter. Like you, I have my feelings and opinions on things but if you are against them, "hey, I still love you, that's cool!" And can I say that as someone in the LGBTQ+ community, I absolutely HATE Pride Month? I can't stand it. I get why some to many like it, but I don't feel that it's something that needs to be shoved in peoples' faces every year and for bigots to make them participate ect. If people don't wish to then they shouldn't need to. Simple as that. No repercussions on the matter, it's THEIR CHOICE. I also am learning and am pretty disgusted by the amount of people who at work tell me that I have a "golden ticket" card for being the only transgender there. I don't want a golden ticket. I wanna be treated like an individual. My pronouns don't really define me. I firmly feel that only my character and soul defines me. Many still call me by female and I'm totally cool with it, but I found out many months after the fact that a supervisor told someone that did call me a woman that if she doesn't use the proper pronouns she can get fired and I even went up to him (mind you it's been months later) and said that I can defend myself and not to fight my battles for me for in my opinion, there wasn't a battle to even fight. We also had some video with transgenders included in it on how to be with them and I truly didn't see the point and felt that my work life would have been a much easier ride in had they not made it more or less a neon sign. I wanted to go in just as myself (and yes, I do still use the appropriate locker rooms/bathrooms for how I was birthed. I was given the option to change BUT I said no and that I need to be in the one fitted to how I was born physically) If people don't like me for what I am that's perfectly fine by me, I'll still be civil to you. So many times I've had altercations with people or been frustrated and all I get in reply is "well, you can use your golden ticket", like, can we not be human anymore and have frustrations with another or minor altercations without it getting out of hand? I keep telling people that I'm never using that ticket because no one else has it and I'm not going to be the reason someone struggling loses their job. If they lose it it'll be on their own and not with my assistance. We're all people fighting our fights. All I wanna do is just live my life how I want to and be happy. I wanna have conversations/debates and learn in a calm manner one's side that opposes mine and their reasoning to maybe open my eyes and mind to something I never thought of or just learning more about that individual. And that's all that I wish for anyone in this world. When I heard of the assassination I looked to my partner and said that it didn't surprise me it happened but it doesn't make me any less disappointed and sad over our kind. Like you said, God saved Trump. We as humans cannot play God and never should, and the simple fact that everyone now resorts to violence out of disagreements is why I and a few others get anxiety just going outside to a store or something. I truly do worry for the younger generations and hope that we as people can come back together and stop all of this hate and violence they're being exposed to.
Ive known this was all coming when I gave my life to Christ in 2001. None of this should surprise or bother us. We have become too comfortable in America. Gods gonna shake it up. Plus Revelation anyone? I wish we wouldnt act so surprise or let it bother us as much as it does. This is the perfect time to shine the light of Christ in my opinion.

There is a time and place for everything.
While he wasn't actually compelled or forced to wear it, someone I know was given a pride shirt from work that they wanted him to wear. He didn't wear it, and he wasn't threatened with his job over it, but I'm kind of surprised. For me personally, the friend I do caregiving for had to sign a waiver to accept the risks for me to be able to avoid getting the jab as a requirement for me to get paid to do caregiving for her. Americans who honestly believe it's okay for the government to take away our freedoms scare the daylights out of me. I went through the register at Walmart a short time back, and my cashier was actually wearing a pin that said "Ban everything." While it was his right to wear that, I have no doubt he believes it, and that scares me. Like you said, we're truly in a frightening moment in American history. Now Cooper let me tell you how blessed I am right now and I know this isn't everybody's experience but God has me in a wonderful place at work now there's not a lot of believers matter of fact there's only 23 people in my company but I'm allowed to come in to listen to my sermons I've never been told not to say anything about Jesus and because of a little faith from me to show that Jesus is my Lord and I am going to live the way he directs me to live I've started to see a change in the people around me and I'm singing him all day I'm able to listen to sermons I do Bible studies and it's never once has anybody ever said anything so I'm extremely blessed but I do know there's a flip side and I do pray for those out there who has to adhere, May I offer to all of those people my prayer and my love and my support remember you might be the only light shining in the dark place and just make sure you're in contact with the Lord because don't ever ever give up what God says over what man says God will provide God bless everyone thank you Cooper this is it is a scary time but you know I trust the Lord and I know he'll see us through whether it's the other side or here I know how it ends and my hope is in Jesus Christ

Like I told my sister, we're in an era where disagreements make you enemies and discussions turn into the worse kind of debates. It's really a sad time we're living in. I firmly believe that everyone has a right to live how they wish and have their opinions and feelings on any form of matter. Like you, I have my feelings and opinions on things but if you are against them, "hey, I still love you, that's cool!" And can I say that as someone in the LGBTQ+ community, I absolutely HATE Pride Month? I can't stand it. I get why some to many like it, but I don't feel that it's something that needs to be shoved in peoples' faces every year and for bigots to make them participate ect. If people don't wish to then they shouldn't need to. Simple as that. No repercussions on the matter, it's THEIR CHOICE. I also am learning and am pretty disgusted by the amount of people who at work tell me that I have a "golden ticket" card for being the only transgender there. I don't want a golden ticket. I wanna be treated like an individual. My pronouns don't really define me. I firmly feel that only my character and soul defines me. Many still call me by female and I'm totally cool with it, but I found out many months after the fact that a supervisor told someone that did call me a woman that if she doesn't use the proper pronouns she can get fired and I even went up to him (mind you it's been months later) and said that I can defend myself and not to fight my battles for me for in my opinion, there wasn't a battle to even fight. We also had some video with transgenders included in it on how to be with them and I truly didn't see the point and felt that my work life would have been a much easier ride in had they not made it more or less a neon sign. I wanted to go in just as myself (and yes, I do still use the appropriate locker rooms/bathrooms for how I was birthed. I was given the option to change BUT I said no and that I need to be in the one fitted to how I was born physically) If people don't like me for what I am that's perfectly fine by me, I'll still be civil to you. So many times I've had altercations with people or been frustrated and all I get in reply is "well, you can use your golden ticket", like, can we not be human anymore and have frustrations with another or minor altercations without it getting out of hand? I keep telling people that I'm never using that ticket because no one else has it and I'm not going to be the reason someone struggling loses their job. If they lose it it'll be on their own and not with my assistance. We're all people fighting our fights. All I wanna do is just live my life how I want to and be happy. I wanna have conversations/debates and learn in a calm manner one's side that opposes mine and their reasoning to maybe open my eyes and mind to something I never thought of or just learning more about that individual. And that's all that I wish for anyone in this world. When I heard of the assassination I looked to my partner and said that it didn't surprise me it happened but it doesn't make me any less disappointed and sad over our kind. Like you said, God saved Trump. We as humans cannot play God and never should, and the simple fact that everyone now resorts to violence out of disagreements is why I and a few others get anxiety just going outside to a store or something. I truly do worry for the younger generations and hope that we as people can come back together and stop all of this hate and violence they're being exposed to.

Ive known this was all coming when I gave my life to Christ in 2001. None of this should surprise or bother us. We have become too comfortable in America. Gods gonna shake it up. Plus Revelation anyone? I wish we wouldnt act so surprise or let it bother us as much as it does. This is the perfect time to shine the light of Christ in my opinion.
