Sadly too many people seem to think the ONLY way to play the Elgar is the Du Pre way. Frankly I am not at all sure Sir Edward would have been a fan of her interpretation. I have heard Julian L.W. play this concerto live and much prefer the way he does it - but if you like histrionics..........
