This car lost the drag event to two E63s Mercs by Wrench studios and MSL tuning at Vmax200. This car is pretty wobbly big barge that doesn't go around corners due to the power and xdrive struggling with that much bhp

@@Eri-zb1xn this car is only at 5000rpm in top gear at 195mph +, at 180 it might be 4000rpm, it can do that for 3h if cooling and oil are fine and no traffic.

Super quick damnnn, i bet it felt kinda scary with the suspension as soft as it is.
Current m240i stage 2 with evolve. Had a problem with fueling due to old spark. Plugs. Took it back to them. They diagnosed and altered the map for free. 10/10. No I don't work for them or get paid.

@@Zlaterrr i was stage 1 with them originally. it made 422HP and 635nm (this was with surrey rolling road), i haven't had stage 2 dyno yet. the main difference is definitely mid range onwards. so i'm hoping around 450 and maybe 670 680nm.
they altered the map instead of changing the plugs..?
@@papa_pt i changed the spark plugs. then after going back they altered the map.
8:47 i am proud my 2006 E90 320d once reached 241 km/h when it had only 150k km mileage, i still have it today and it's 330k km mileage

I've watched enough car videos to be pretty fluent in the metric system, but it still gives me a better sense of speed when I see it in my native tongue 😄
nobody put the digital readout in mph. it' like that because it is a UK car and they use mph there. don't act so grateful: nobody in the normal world cares about your mph
@@zetadimensions Most cars can choose mph or kph with their digital readouts...so the whether the decision was to "leave it in mph" or "change it to mph" is irrelevant...they could have "changed it to kph" for their own convenience. Hence why I thanked them (even if it wasn't intentional, I'm making it clear that I appreciate it). I know the UK uses mph...anyone who watched Top Gear knows that.
I don't care about mph either...I just happen to have been raised with it. Don't act so grateful that you weren't. That's like telling a French person that "no one in the rest of the world cares about your French-speaking." Obviously that's a fair point, but it's not new information...it's just rude lol

The BMW M5 has got to be the best high performance 4 door sedan that money can buy. And look what happens when you build that motor to easily handle 1,000 hp! Just before he backed off the accelerator it was nearing 330 kil and still pulling hard!! 😳

Max, the ceramic brakes may handle heat better and even have more bite but the price of the consumables are alarmingly expensive. This generation M5 being this heavy and quick really eats them away, some other people on the YT have commented on that as well.
For people whose intentions are to track drive, the consumable's prices are ridiculous. For guys using this thing hard steels may be the best option.
Replacing the consumables, brakes alone for the M5 goes over 20k+ usd.
And this barge eats them away almost just as quick.
Evolve Automotive really tuned this monster, Imran is such a humble guy 😎
TBF the motorways are pretty good in the UK, I mean it's not like they have potholes, the normal roads can be bad thou, I'll give you that. Looking at that piece of road in the video, you'd never get all the irregular road surface like that on a British M/Way, considering the speed limit or lack of, it doesn't look too safe at all.

Carbon ceramics are mainly for endurance and reducing the fade under heavy braking so you don’t need them if you’re not on a race track

So as fas as i am concerned carbon ceramics dont brake better if they have the same size setup as steel brakes, its just that they fade more quickly eg on the racetrack when you do a lot of braking, so they just last longer under heat.

As much as I dislike DMO, he would. Ricky, with the same build as Imran, managed 207mph. DMO got 209mph. Acceleration tests might be a different story though.

I don't quite understand the concern with the brakes not being carbon ceramics, whether they are steel or carbon makes no difference to the actual stopping power, this all comes down to the size and the pads. The carbon ceramics are only better when it comes to brake fade on extended track sessions.

I live in Germany, right next to the border to Netherlands. What this guy does is just irresponsible as hell. Using (or rather abusing) the Autobahn for "testing" cars, to generate money on RUclips. I mean more than 300 kp/h on a two lane section? 220 kp/h differential speed to those trucks you're overtaking? Where you do not see what's behind them? That's insanity, with NO chance to react whatsoever. WTF Dude? And that disclaimer on the top left is just ridiculous.
Take the money you make on RUclips, book a timeslot on a racetrack and produce your videos there. Seriously, I wish you all the clicks and followers and money in the world, but if you ever kill someone I know, while producing this shit here, I'm going to make your life highly miserable!
