I enjoyed your quick video shoots and editing. I have two of these Aqara G4 doorbells. Overall I like that they work with HomeKit and have local storage. I would like more camera angle for a bigger view, though.
Why you don’t drill new hole for wire in a new location and didn’t fish new wire from the bell? Maybe see if there are siding repear kit is building shop?
Buyer beware. I bought this in Dec 23. Followed the installation instructions. 3 days ago it completely stopped working. There was no notification that something was wrong. For the last month the camera made a loud audible sound when it detected something. Its primary selling point is that it’s an affordable HomeKit doorbell. It’s simply not worth it. I’ve decided to go with the Reolink POE doorbell instead combined with Scrypted. Others may have had a better experience so take my experience with a grain of salt 😊
