The focus point (orange triangle on blade) is where it is getting the location info (Northing, easting) and Elevation from. I believe in the newer versions it will allow you to select left, middle or right. I always move the control to my left tip and put it on what I'm trying to measure. You can also take shots with the rover and just enter the points and select them. That is my preferred method if it is anything complicated I'm trying to build.

How do you know where it’s going to put your center line? Where is it reading your elevation from?

I just got a company who is renting a d51pxi an I can't get any of these features to operate.. bottom just stays red an doesn't connect.
Which side is red, left or right?
Is there any error messages?
