I had the same error message in my machine. It could be the pump or the solenoid valve or both. The solenoid is the black colour part slightly behind and leftish to the thermo block. Solenoid has 4 water lines connected to it and 3 electrical connectors. If I’m not mistaken I replaced both of them and the problem was solved. In my case it was just the solenoid faulty though. So I suggest changing the solenoid first.

I've had same problem. Today I fixed it by myself. I replaced only water pump Ulka EP5 (as my machine has "230V version", so) 230V 48W part only. After replaced new a part, it works as charm...
I was looking closely to see if you've fixed this issue as I do have the same problem. All I could see was a cat running at 02:15 .. please advise how to fix it.

Ashley Gibbon thx for that I can hear my machine makes a pumping sound after you press the ok button but no water comes out - could be pump as it was your case, Im suspecting possibly a blockage in my case machine was in the box for a couple of years ....
