Same here! I couldn’t talk my nephews into enlisting under Bidens administration! They wanted to go in the military since they were little, used to look at my pictures and ask all kinds of questions. But when they turned 18 I couldn’t even imagine sending them to basic training under the current administration with all there dei crap and desensitized training methods. I advised them to go to college and then hopefully by the time they graduate they can go OCS under the Trump administration!

I am privileged to have a 98-year-old WWII veteran as a friend. He served in the United States Navy. He loves Jesus, adores his wife of 74 years, and raised 5 children to be fine, upstanding citizens. He owned and operated his own construction business until he retired. He has perfect posture, reads constantly, and has beautiful handwriting. He can lift 20 to 40 pound bags of black oil sunflower seeds. He is one of my heroes. He played baseball with his great-grandchildren last Mother's Day. If he would've been invited to speak at the RNC, he'd have shared the same convictions Sgt. Pekrul did.
Wow I kind of want to learn his secrets on how to be that healthy at that age living to 98 is increasable!

Hearing a World War II veteran say that this country is still worth fighting for means so much. Those words right there have renewed my faith in America.
I work at a VA hospital, and I had the chance to chat with an elderly black Veteran. He had come to pick up equipment he needed from the Prosthetics department, and I was just walking to the canteen to get something to eat, so we talked while walking toward the main lobby. When we parted, I thanked him for his service, and he turned back and said, "Oh, honey, I'd do it all over again." I was so emotional after hearing that that I had to take a few minutes to wipe away tears before continuing. Part of it was because he reminded me so much of my late step-grandfather, a Korean War Veteran, and part of it was because I was just so touched by that generation's love of country. I cried again, listening to this fine gentleman. Thank God that we had such men. May we be worthy of their sacrifices.

I didn't believe in that war, but I believe in our country and our troops. I was willing to give my life to prove it. You sir, are a perfect example of why I feel that way. Thank you.

If you are lucky enough to meet these heros, spend some time with them, listen to them and give them your undivided attention. Show them the respect that they deserve. Yep - tears in my eyes folks. This is what America is all about to me. When he mentioned the Battle of the Bulge, my father's father was killed in action there in Nov 1944. My mom's father was injured severely in Northern Africa the same year. He died in 1967 due to so many operations and complications. I was born in 1966, so I never knew either of them. They fought so bravely for this country to protect our freedom. God Bless Them!

I'm not American. I'm a Filipino and I am binge watching all the videos related to Trump, mostly after his assassination attempt last Saturday, US time. I praise God for what He has done to Trump that day. I've grown up watching a lot of American movies and sitcoms in the past and what I'm seeing here in the RNC is what true America looks like. So many patriots gather in one place. I hope Trump wins this November 2024 and may God always keep him safe. The US need the Lord God to be healed and restored to its greatness again.
